We’re excited to officially announce our coaching staff for the upcoming season at Valor Baseball Academy.

Our coaches are committed to developing players both on and off the field while creating a competitive, positive environment built around growth, accountability, and passion for the game.

We’re proud of the group leading our athletes this season and can’t wait to get to work. Stay tuned for announcements and upcoming tryout information.

Valor Baseball Academy families,

After a lot of thought and prayer, I’m excited to share that I will be giving Valor Baseball Academy to Skylar McPhee effective July 1st, 2026. This will allow everyone to begin making plans for the upcoming season.

From the very beginning, my goal has been to provide and keep VBA strong and sustainable, and this is a step to continue that. While this transition also means that my son and I will not be a part of next season which is not the outcome I would have chosen. I believe this is the right move to allow VBA to continue growing and building on what we’ve started.

Skylar will be sharing more details about his vision and plans on his personal page.

I’m incredibly grateful for all the players, families, and coaches who have been part of this journey and helped make VBA what it is today. I’m looking forward to seeing the next chapter unfold.

Weekend recap 🏆

Shoutout to our 10U National and 13U National teams for both making championship runs and finishing as finalists. Competing at a high level all weekend and representing the program the right way.

Both teams propelled themselves into the championship game via walk off fashion in the bottom of the last inning of their semi final matchups.

From the first pitch to the final out, these boys showed toughness, energy, and a team-first mindset. The competitiveness, growth and fight stood out all weekend long. Back to the lab this week to get better but proud of these boys for being rewarded for their hard work and effort.

At Valor Baseball Academy, we believe the standard starts at the top. If we expect our players to grow, our coaches should be growing too.

That’s why we’re proud to share that Coach Bryan Owens is now Driveline Certified.

Coach Bryan has always been a student of the game. From working with players on infield and outfield defense to teaching the “next play mentality,” he’s passionate about helping young athletes build confidence, discipline, and strong fundamentals.

This certification is another step in continuing to sharpen the tools we use to develop our athletes the right way.

But more than certifications, what makes Valor special is the people leading our players every day. Coaches who care. Coaches who invest their time. Coaches who continue learning so they can pour more into the kids they lead.

We’re proud of the work Coach Bryan is putting in and proud to have him representing the Valor standard.

As we wrap up winter workouts and head into spring practice, we wanted to make sure the field reflects the pride and hard work these boys put in daily.

Today we dropped 15 tons of dirt on the infield and laser graded it, built a 12’ x 24’ batter’s eye, and added signage along the outfield fence—bringing the park to life and creating a place the boys can proudly call “Home”.
