More than old boards—they’re a piece of rodeo history.
The Beutler family’s partnership with the Pretty Prairie Rodeo began in 1940, spanning 19 rodeos through 1964 and another 33 from 1994 through 2026—a total of 52 rodeos.
This special sign was made from the only remaining boards from the original wooden corrals at the Pretty Prairie Rodeo Grounds. Through the years, generations of the Beutler Rodeo family leaned on them, climbed over them, sat on them and worked alongside them.
Our sincere thanks to Mike and Connie Hedrick for preserving this piece of history and driving all the way to Elk City, OK to present it to our family. It’s a reminder of the generations, memories and lasting friendships that have made Pretty Prairie so special to us. ❤️ This was such a wonderful surprise.
