Leaving Pigeon Forge today after a whirlwind seven-day adventure, and none of us are quite ready to say goodbye.

Eleven little boys traveled 900 miles from home and played the best baseball of their lives on some of the most beautiful fields we've ever seen.

Out of 34 teams from across the United States and Canada, they finished 3rd with an incredible 7-1 record. They made Cape Select a name heard all across the nation and proved that hard work, heart, and brotherhood can take you a long way.

But somehow, the baseball wasn't even the best part.

This week was about so much more than wins and losses. It was cliff jumping, tubing down the river, roller coasters, late nights in log cabins, spotting bears and deer, laughing until our stomachs hurt, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

As we pack up and head home, we're also closing the chapter on our 12U season and saying goodbye to the small field. One day these boys will look back and remember the summer they spent in the mountains with their best friends, playing baseball at the Ripken Experience, living their childhood to the fullest, and having what felt like the most magical summer vacation imaginable.

And before we close this chapter, there are so many people who deserve our deepest thanks.

To our coaches... thank you for giving these boys so much more than baseball. Thank you for the countless hours, the endless practices, the long weekends away from your own families, and yes... for sacrificing your time, your energy, and probably a little of your sanity over the last four-plus years. You believed in these boys, challenged them, celebrated them, and helped shape them into not only better ballplayers, but better young men. There are no words that could ever truly express what you've meant to this team.

To our families... thank you for believing in this journey and standing beside us every step of the way. In a world where travel teams change constantly, what an incredible accomplishment it is that this group has stayed together for more than four years. Thank you for trusting one another, supporting one another, and sticking with us through every win, every loss, every long drive, every tournament, and every unforgettable memory. We wouldn't have wanted to do any of this with anyone else. Somewhere along the way, we stopped being just teammates and baseball families. We became family. That's what has made this journey so incredibly special, and what has made every championship, every milestone, and every memory we've created together even more meaningful.

Thank you for letting us help raise your babies alongside you, for loving every one of these boys as your own, and for creating the kind of village every child deserves. Our village is truly something special, and I will forever be grateful to have shared this chapter of life with each of you.

And finally, to our fans... thank you. Thank you for every cheer from the stands, every encouraging message, every shared post, every prayer, and every mile traveled to support these boys—not just this week at the Ripken Experience, but throughout the past several years. Your love and support has meant more than you'll ever know, and these boys have felt it every step of the way.

This team has always been about so much more than baseball. It's about family, friendship, and a bond that time and distance will never take away. That's what made this journey so special. That's what made everything we accomplished together feel so magical.

To my boys... if I could go back and do it all again, I would in a heartbeat, just to watch you grow up one more time. Thank you for letting me be your loud, crazy Team Mom. The years we've shared in those dugouts, on those fields, and on these unforgettable trips have meant more to me than you'll ever know.

I can't wait to watch each of you take the big field and continue chasing your dreams.
Never forget who you are. You are smart. You are kind. You are brave. You are loved beyond measure. And no matter where this game takes you, you'll always have each other.
