If you or your child are interested in learning how to ride, I’d love to help you get started.

All horses go through there “testing stages”
It doesn’t matter how broke,obedient, sweet, or kid friendly your horse is. If you ride a horse regularly he or she will test you. This is not to discourage you as a rider but encourage you! Horses are big animals and they are very smart, just like kids they like to test your patience, and test to see how much they may or may not be able to get away with you. Not because they are a “bad horse” but because it’s part of there nature, that’s why we must always be prepared for anything and everything when riding and be willing to go the extra mile to earn the respect and trust of our horse and the ability to show them they can’t push us around ☺️

(as a trainer I felt this was something all riders needed to hear) 

We had so much fun in our lesson today! We went on an adventure, practiced turning, stoping and backing up!

This little boy just started and is already learning so quickly ☺️

Just wanted to wright an awareness post for all my little students.
There is a sickness call EHV going around, it does not affect people but can be VERY dangerous for horses.

This is very contagious between horses, so with that being said. If you have been in contact with a horse for any reason before lessons (any horses that are not mine) Please please make sure to change your clothes, wash your hands or any part of you that was close to or touched the horse!

I don’t think any of you come into contact with horses besides at lessons. But this is just an awareness post for if you do, not just for the safety of my horses but also for any other horses that could be affected.
