What a wonderful Championship weekend in Region 20! We want to thank all who made the 2026 Region 20 Championship a success. Huge thanks to our tournament hosts, Master Kenny Purnell, Master Patrick & Master Clare Marsch from Allied Gardens Tang Soo Do Karate Academy. We also thank Master Patrick Marsch, our Regional Director and our KoDanJa for their guidance and leadership.

The theme of this year was Rooted In Excellence.

We had the distinct privilege of being the debut event for Region 20's very own BKCN D'Ercole. We celebrated this momentous occasion with a very special sword ceremony to honor his new position within WTSDA.

Congratulations to Region 20 for another successful Regional Championship!

This was the first official event with our own BKCN D’Ercole. Our Regional KoDanJa wanted to mark this occasion with a very special ceremony. Since San Diego is synonymous with our Military, a sword ceremony felt apropos.

Congratulations, BKCN Larry D’Ercole, from all of us in Region 20. Tang Soo!
