Carlsbad Shorthorn Little League is incredibly honored to be recognized as a 2026 Best of Carlsbad Finalist.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who took the time to vote and to those who continue to support our league. This recognition is a reflection of the dedication of our players, coaches, volunteers, families, sponsors, and the entire Carlsbad community.

While we know there is always room to grow, we remain committed to providing a positive experience for our youth and continuing to strengthen our league year after year.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for being a part of the Carlsbad Shorthorn Little League family. We are truly grateful for your support and are proud to represent this amazing community.

The Shorthorn Major All-Stars came up just short last night, falling 5-4 in extra innings in the District Championship.

These boys showed incredible heart, determination, and resilience, battling until the very last out. While the final score wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for, we couldn’t be more proud of the way they represented Carlsbad. They left everything they had on that field and never stopped believing.

Keep your heads up, boys. Championships don’t define a team—your effort, character, and the way you competed do. Thank you for giving our community an unforgettable run and memories we’ll never forget.

Tonight, the Carlsbad Shorthorn Major All Stars take the field one final time in a winner-take-all District Championship against the Artesia Bulldogs.

After battling their way to a 4-1 victory over Artesia last night to force the deciding game, everything comes down to tonight.

Carlsbad, we need you! Pack the stands, wear your green, get loud, and help give these boys the home-field energy they deserve. They’ve played with heart, grit, and determination all tournament long—now let’s be there to cheer them on every pitch, every hit, and every out.

The Shorthorn 11U All Stars fell short last night in a winner-take-all District Championship game. While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, this team has so much to be proud of. Keep your heads up, boys. You showed heart, determination, and never quit competing. The future is bright—keep working hard, and great things will come.

The Shorthorn 11u All Stars fell short last night in the first game of the District Championship against artesia. Tonight they will be back on the field in a winner take all championship game at 7pm. We believe in you boys, brush it off and come back with some fire tonight. Go Shorthorn!!!!

The Shorthorn Major All Stars were able to get the win last night against Noon Op, and will now take on the Artesia Bulldogs in the District Championship tonight in Carlsbad at 7pm. Shorthorn will have to double dip Artesia to claim the title. We believe in you boys, ANYTHINGS POSSIBLE!!
