Wow! What a day today. The weather held, and we hosted an amazing first Warpath Invite here on our home course. We saw runners working hard, fast times, and lots of guts (which were required for some of those hills out there)!

Our girls’ team kicked off the day and brought home a runner-up team finish on their home turf! Five in the top 20! 👏

Our MS boys finally brought a full team to the competition! We’re so excited to have new runners and a full team on the course! Henry brought another big win today, winning for the 3rd week in a row, and won the race by nearly a full minute!

In addition to our amazing teams— a huge amount of thanks to everyone who made this race come together. There has been a ton of hard work for months in creating the course, prepping for race day, and then running a super-efficient meet. Thanks to all the parents, families, friends and the larger community for volunteering and showing up to cheer on the Warriors today!

We can’t wait until next year.

Shout out and big thanks to McAlister's Deli in North Canton for supplying our team meal earlier tonight! The team stayed after practice to help put the final touches on the course and make sure everything is ready for the big invite tomorrow, and they had a little fun while they were at it!

Runners of the Week this week are sophomore Carson Murphy and senior Olivia McCort! 👏 The team celebrated their accomplishments at our weekly spaghetti dinner tonight.

Carson dropped time and was our front-runner this past week. He had an off week the week before, but was able to overcome it and run a great race on Saturday!

Olivia continues to put everything she has into this season. She’s one of the hardest workers on our team, and she doesn’t let struggles or race times affect her attitude!

Course is cut, painted and roped off! We are getting close to a memorable 1st ever Warpath Invitational. For those that volunteered, please check the sheet you signed up on and here is a map for your work station. The sign up sheet has time slots, station numbers, and names. It’s almost here! Come out and cheer on all of our teams this Saturday at the First Annual Carrollton Warpath XC Invitational! ↠

HS Girls run at 9 am
HS Boys run at 9:45 am
MS Girls at 10:30 am
MS Boys at 11:15 am

We’ll also be hosting a 1-mile Biddy race for all preK to sixth-grade runners! Biddy races start at 12 pm and will be broken into four groups: Girls PreK - 3, Boys PreK - 3, Girls 4 - 6, and Boys 4 - 6.

We will have food and drink trucks for everyone, including: Dora’s Donuts, Tom's Coffee, Kirk’s Kitchen and Kona Ice!

It is a beautiful and challenging course, and we look forward to hosting 20 teams this weekend. Can’t wait to see you at the races!
