Yesterday marked the end of a truly special season for the Mt. Zion Lady Eagles. Though our journey in the state playoffs came to a heartbreaking end in the first round, there is so much to celebrate and be proud of this year.

This team showed incredible growth, heart, and determination from start to finish — more than doubling our wins from previous seasons and setting a new standard for what it means to compete as a Lady Eagle. Every practice, every inning, and every moment together was a step forward, and this group never stopped fighting, learning, or believing in one another.

It has truly been an honor and privilege to coach this incredible group of young women. The effort, energy, and team spirit made this season one to remember!

We may close this chapter with a few tears, but our hearts are full — proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what’s ahead! ❤️🦅🥎🔥
