Cass High School is a four-year public high school located in Cartersville, Georgia, United States, one of five high schools in Bartow County. It serves grades 9-12. In 2004, Casko led the Colonels to the state playoffs for the first time in 21 years, the second time in school history. In 2006, the Colonels returned to the playoffs behind Richard Samuel, former running back and linebacker for the Georgia Bulldogs.WrestlingThe Cass Colonels wrestling team is led by D.L. Koontz. In 2006, under former Head Coach Jason Faklaris, the varsity wrestling team took first place in the GHSAA Class AAA Dual Wrestling Championships. This was the first time the school had won a state wrestling championship.
