No racing for Team Miss Fire this weekend!🏁

With Malta taking the weekend off tonight, we’re trading race cars and checkered flags for something pretty special tomorrow.

We’re headed to celebrate a young lady who has been a very special part of our family for years. She and our daughter have been best friends since kindergarten, so we’ve had the privilege of watching their friendship grow through the years—and watching her become family to us along the way.

Tomorrow, we get to celebrate her as she marries the love of her life! 💍

So, no racing this weekend… just celebrating love, friendship, and family. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤️🏁

We can’t believe it, but last night was the last points race of the season for Katrina at Malta! 🏁❤️

Hot laps told us the car wasn’t the fastest, but our driver climbed out saying it felt good—and that’s what we wanted to hear! She headed out for her heat and captured the heat win! 🏆

That put us in a great starting position for the feature. The feature started out pretty chaotic, but our driver held her own, even surrounded by some very seasoned drivers. She kept digging and brought it home with a 4th-place finish! 🏁

We are so incredibly proud of Katrina—not just for the finishes, but for her perseverance and determination through the nights that tested her. She kept showing up, kept learning, and kept pushing. ❤️

And our hearts go out to our son-in-law, Josh LeClaire. Despite being incredibly patient this year and dedicating himself to his own personal growth, he’s had what has quite possibly been the hardest race season ever.

Unfortunately, cars don’t always do what we want them to do, no matter how much work, patience, and dedication we put into them.

Josh, never forget that you are an amazing person and a talented driver. One tough season doesn’t change that. ❤️🏁

We’re proud of both of you and grateful we get to share this crazy racing life together. ❤️

EDIT we found a loaner HUGE thank you to Fire and Ice Motorsports Thank you!!! I know this is a long shot but does anyone have a spare gen 2 transmission we could borrow or possibly buy? We lost ours in Bobbis car Saturday and I don't think ill have time to get it repaired before the weekend...IM Eric...Thank you

Last night was a challenging one for me. (Bobbi)

An unfortunate incident in the heat caused a pretty scary moment, and unfortunately, it stayed in my head and heart for the rest of the night. Then, during that same heat, the car sounded to me like the motor was gonna blow, so I brought it in. After talking with Eric, we thought maybe I simply hadn’t gotten it into gear hard enough and it had slipped.

I tagged onto the back of the Novice feature for a couple of laps, and everything seemed to be working just fine.

When feature time came, I started 13th. Still anxious from the earlier events of the night, but I strapped in and went for it anyway. 🏁

I started making some momentum, and then the car popped out of gear. Thinking I may not have gotten it in hard enough, I threw it back into gear and kept going. Unfortunately, it happened a couple more times throughout the feature.

I stuck with it, finished the race, and brought it home—but we definitely have some work to do this week!❤️🏁

Tonight the Miss Fire Motorsports 12 and 7 cars head to Albany-Saratoga Speedway for a giant race celebrating long time promoter Lyle DeVore. Tonight will be an up on the wheel night with an expected huge car count. We were busy in the shop this week making changes and dialing in our hot rods! Now it's time to chase that checkered flag!

This weekend, the ladies will be taking a little break from racing as the entire Nuthouse family gathers to celebrate something much bigger—the 2nd youngest of the Nuthouse is marrying the love of her life! ❤️💍
Eric and Bobbi were lucky enough to catch the moment she said “I do,” and we all couldn’t be more excited to officially welcome Hayden into the “Nuthouse Family”! ❤️
While the ladies are off celebrating, you’ll still find the MissFire cars on the track!

Saturday night, the entire Miss Fire team loaded up and headed to Devil’s Bowl Speedway—and you all know what that means… Mom/Grandma Bobbi’s heart was full! ❤️
Having our family together at the track is already something special, but then almost all of her grandchildren showed up to support their racers, and it was almost too sweet to handle. 🥹❤️
Grandma had a 2nd-place finish in the first feature, and then got to give five of her grandchildren a ride around the track in her race car! 🏁
Not many grandchildren can say THAT is what they did on the weekend! 😂❤️
This right here is what racing is really about—family, making memories, and sharing a love for this sport with the next generation.
These are the moments we’ll remember long after the checkered flags stop flying. ❤️🏁
Family time. Racing time. The best kind of time. ❤️
