MCCOLLUM SCORES THE VICTORY AT WI******ER SPEEDWAYS ACTION TRACK

This past Saturday night the East Coast Legend Series traveled to the Action Track in Wi******er Virginia to do battle on the 3/8th mile dirt oval.

A total of 29 cars signed-in to compete Saturday night with a total of four heat races being held. The winners of the heat races on the night were Kelby Friese, Alex McCollum, Jeremy Ott and Quinten Adams. There would be no consolation race, as all competitors would transfer to the feature later that night.

Starting on the front row would be Kelby Friese P1 and Alex McCollum P2. With a full field behind them they would take the green and the side-by-side racing action would begin.
McCollum would jump to the lead and secure a steady gap between him and the rest of the field. However, after a restart McCollum would find Jeremy Ott right behind him trying to take away that number one position.

McCollum maintained a safe distance from Ott as the laps wound down with Ott trying to duck to McCollum's underside on the final straightaway, but could not pull-off the winning pass leaving McCollum the winner on the night. Rounding out positions 3-5 would be Kelby Friese, Steven Partin and Quinten Adams.

The Series will be back in action this coming weekend with a doubleheader on-tap starting with Linda's Speedway Friday night and Path Valley Speedway Saturday night.

MCCOLLUM GRABS THE VICTORY AT THE ACTION TRACK IN KUTZTOWN DURING FAIR WEEK

Alex McCollum scored the win Tuesday night in his familiar #0 legends car over runner-up Dalton Friese. The series made its yearly appearance at the Action Track in Kutztown Pennsylvania to compete on the high banked bullring. With beautiful weather and a great crowd in attendance for fair week the series brought 22 cars to do battle.

There were a total of three heat races scheduled with Alex McCollum, Shjon Dove and Mason Weakley each taking the win in their respective qualifying events. A consolation would not be needed as all cars would transfer to the feature event.

The front row of the feature would be shared by Dalton Friese and Alex McCollum. McCollum would take the lead immediately and never look back for the remainder of the feature event. Dalton Friese would make a solid attempt to try and take the lead from McCollum but would end-up settling for second place. Three rookies; Jayden Powell, Shjon Dove and KJ Massey would score top 10 finishes in the feature event. Dave Benner would advance a total of 7 positions in the feature which earned him the hard charger award.

The Series will be back in action this Saturday night at BAPS Motor
