McClelland & McElroy Each Collect Victories in East Coast Legend Doubleheader Weekend
For Immediate Release
June 14, 2026
The East Coast Legend Series started a doubleheader weekend at Linda's Speedway this past Friday night. With uncertainty as to what the weather would bring in regards to severe storms it did not dampen or stop the series from completing their 16th race on the 2026 campaign.
A total of 13 legend cars would sign-in to do battle at Linda's 1/4 mile bullring. There would be two heat races on-tap for the series. Travis McClelland and Justin Wagaman would each capture heat race wins.
The feature would have one of the series "young guns" show the way for the first 12 laps. McElroy would get crossed-up in a rut on the track giving veteran racer Travis McClelland the opportunity to make the pass and cruise to victory in the 20 lap feature. McElroy would settle for second and Justin Wagaman would round-out the podium. Notable strong finishes for the night would be Logan Jones P4, Shjon Dove P5, Rick Hartwig P6 and KJ Massey P7.
Saturday night the doubleheader would journey to Spring Run PA where the series would invade Path Valley Speedway. A total of 23 legend cars would sign-in to compete at the 1/4 mile bullring. The track surface was in superb condition with plenty of grip to provide door-to-door racing. A total of three heat races would be scheduled for the night. Heat races would be won by Jeremy Ott, Bill Diehl and Scott Houdenshell.
The feature would have McElroy and Diehl starting on the front row for their 20 lap feature event. An intense battle between McElroy, Houndenshell and Jones would run the course of the feature event. McElroy would be determined to finish one spot better than he did the night before at Linda's Speedway. The young driver would never relinquish the lead even while racing through lapped traffic. In the end McElroy would capture his first ever East Coast Legend Series victory. An emotional victory lane it was for McElroy's team and family after a second place finish Friday night and feature win to top-off the doubleheader weekend. Houdenshell and Jones would round-out the P2 and P3 finishes for the night.
The series will be back in action this Saturday night at Wi******er Speedway's 3/8th mile oval.

McCollum Scores Overdue Victory at Wi******er's Action Track
For Immediate Release
June 8, 2026
With the majority of surrounding race tracks canceling on Saturday night due to severe weather Wi******er Speedway was fortunate to dodge the weather and complete their show. The East Coast Legend Series was on- hand to do battle on the 3/8th mile dirt oval with a total of 21 competitors signed-in for a night of racing.
A total of three heat races were ran with the winners being McCollum, Hahn and Connor Tracy. With no B-Main needed the field was now set for their 20 lap feature. The feature event yielded several cautions but once started Alex McCollum never looked back throughout the entire race to take the checkers or to be challenged. Jeremy Hahn was second while Shaun Abney rounded-out the top three.
McCollum and his team were very excited with their victory, as it was long overdue for them at Wi******er Speedway.
The East Coast Legend Series has a double header weekend starting this Friday at Linda's Speedway and Saturday at Path Valley Speedway.
