This is why I always bring up and encourage changing out your old, non-compliant drain covers. Some of the old covers aren’t even secured to the floor, and just snap into place. Scary.

Most DIY'ers seem to prefer a salt system to help them maintain a consistent chlorine level in their pool. This Breeze system is a great option, and it's made locally here in Tempe.
