Babies have arrived! 5 on the ground today…B31 got us started with 2 buck fawns around 2pm yesterday. She was bred to Bochy. Excited to see these grow! Gus says “they are sooooo precious”!

The Saylors have been a bit busy the last few weeks. Our oldest has graduated high school and headed to University of Arkansas in August! We are so proud of her and all of her accomplishments. We took the opportunity last summer to sneak in these senior photos with “Dozer”. Deer farming is a big part of our lives, and she’s been a part of that every step of the way. We’re truly family owned and operated! She’s also earned a scholarship from the Texas Deer Association and we’re super proud of that for her! We LOVE that the Oklahoma facility is on the way to Arkansas too!
We are so grateful that fawns have stayed in utero and gave us a chance to enjoy that final senior month without babies in the mix just yet. I have a feeling with this full moon tonight we may have some come morning time! Gus says we will have 4 or 16 in the morning 😂

We stay busy building our business and tending to the animals that we get behind on social media posts. Both facility annual inspections are done, bucks are tested, and now we hurry up and wait for my favorite time of the year. Mommas are looking great, getting pens ready for fawns to drop, big guys are starting to put it on. All is well…except for ONE problem we hope doesn’t become a larger problem at our Oklahoma facility! The guys spent the day yesterday beefing up security and hopefully we don’t see this big fella again!
