📣⚾ FUNDRAISER REMINDER – LITTLE TIKES FAMILIES! ⚾📣

Our fundraiser will officially end Sunday, October 18th!

Please begin turning in the money you have already collected. You can place the money in a envelope and turn it in to your coach on Sunday game days, or you can bring it directly to me at:

💗 You do not have to wait until October 18th to turn in your money! The sooner we begin collecting fundraiser funds, the sooner we can start booking and purchasing everything needed for our End-of-Season Celebration.

These funds help us plan a fun and memorable celebration for all of our Little Tikes players and families! ⚾🎉🏆
It also helps prepare us for the following year as we keep growing and expanding.

🎉⚾ COME ON OUT FOR CHANDLER CELEBRATION DAY! ⚾🎉

Join us this Saturday for Chandler Celebration Day!

🚗 The parade starts at 11:00 AM and will end at the Community Center building across from the ballfields.

Due to limited parade space, Little Tikes Coed T-Ball INC will be represented in the parade by our board members, coaches, and their children.

💗 But we would LOVE to see all of our Little Tikes families along the parade route!

Come out, cheer us on, wave to our Little Tikes, and help us celebrate our Chandler community! 🎉

🍬 We’ll be passing out goodies along the way!

We hope to see everyone Saturday! ⚾🥳

⚾ Little Tikes Communication, Weather & Makeup Reminder ⚾

Please keep all team communication with your coaches. Your coaches will respond as soon as they are able. Please remember that our coaches are volunteers and also have jobs, families, and other responsibilities.

I stay in direct communication with all coaches. Important league updates are sent directly to them, and they will forward that information to their teams.

🌦️ WEATHER & CANCELLATIONS

Practices and games are NOT canceled unless:
• The heat index reaches 105°F
• There is lightning
• There is moderate to heavy rain
• Field conditions become unsafe

Our field floods very easily. Even 10 minutes of heavy rain can cause the field to flood, and it can take 2–3 days to completely dry out.

If we need to cancel, I will do my best to provide at least a 2-hour notice. Unless you receive a cancellation from your coach, please plan on practice or games continuing as scheduled.

☀️ HIGH HEAT

Please make sure your child arrives well hydrated and has plenty to drink.

💧 Kids may get drinks whenever they need them. They do not have to wait for a scheduled break.

🧊 Cooling rags and personal fans are absolutely acceptable and encouraged.

⏱️ After approximately 30 minutes of activity, we will take a 10-minute cool-down and hydration break. Additional breaks can be taken whenever needed.

🌤️ By our 5:30 PM practices, the sun is lower at the field, which helps significantly with the direct heat.

⚾ MAKEUP PRACTICES

If a practice is canceled, coaches will work with their individual teams to make up the missed practice. They may:

• Schedule a separate makeup practice day, OR
• Add approximately 30 minutes before another scheduled practice to help make up the missed time.

🏟️ MAKEUP GAMES

We have currently missed 2 game days.

Our season was designed with an additional 2 weeks built into the league schedule specifically for makeup games. Those two missed game days will be made up during those extended weeks.

After those are used, we still have 2 additional makeup game days available if needed.

If we have cancellations beyond all of the available makeup dates, those games will not be made up.

We try our best to give every child as much playing time as possible while also working around weather, field conditions, and everyone's safety.

👕👟⚾ LITTLE TIKES FAMILIES — LET’S COME TOGETHER! ⚾👟👕

These kiddos grow SO FAST! One minute something fits, and the next minute they’ve already outgrown it! ❤️

If you have any gently used clothes, shoes, cleats, jackets, coats, or other children’s items that your child has outgrown, bring them with you on game days!

I would love to set up FREE FAMILY SWAP TABLES at the field. Families can bring items they no longer need and take something their child can use.

No buying. No selling. No need to bring something in order to take something. This is simply about helping one another. 💕

Our kiddos grow so quickly, and there’s no reason for good clothes and shoes to sit unused when another Little Tikes family could use them.

If you dont have anything and like to bring anything. Boys and girl socks and underwear/ panties would be appreciated.

🐝💛 LITTLE TIKES FAMILY REMINDER – BEE A BUDDY EVENT! 💛🐝

Little Tikes families, just a reminder that tomorrow, Sunday, September 13th, from 2:00–6:00 PM, we will be coming together for the Bee A Buddy event at Wesselman Park! We are at The shelter house #4 across from the tennis courts.

It’s going to be a great family fun day with lots of activities, games, vendors, giveaways, and fun for the kiddos! 🎉🐝

👕 Please have your Little Tikes players wear their Little Tikes shirts so we can proudly represent our league and show our support together!

I want to personally thank all of our families for coming out and supporting a cause that I am extremely passionate about. Bee A Buddy's mission of bringing awareness to mental health, su***de prevention, and bullying is something that means so much to me.

I know we are sacrificing one of our game days for this event, and I truly appreciate everyone's understanding. I believe this is an opportunity for our children to be part of something meaningful while also having an amazing time with their families. 💛

Thank you for always supporting Little Tikes Coed T-Ball Inc. and for helping us support such an important cause.

We hit our goal thank you to everyone that made a donation especially a huge shout-out to Jeepin' for a Cause for your big donation to make sure the event is secured with the two shelter houses. The venmo account will stay up until Sunday night. If anyone would like to make a donation. After that the venmo account will be closed all donations will go to Bee A Buddy - AnnaB Project to help raise money for the organization.
