New sign to better represent what our facility does. Lot's of good training occurs here.

Pre-registration is now open for the Shoshin Ryu Nationals (summer conference) that our school will be hosting 17-21 July 2019 in D.C. This is the first time our school is hosting Nationals and we will probably not rotate through our area again for another 5+ years. Take advantage of the opportunity to train with Shoshin Ryu’s most dedicated instructors and students. You will learn three months’ worth of material within four days of focused training.

Attached are pictures from Shoshin Ryu's 25th annual summer conference called "Nationals". 63 practitioners flew from all over the U.S. to learn and grow their art over a four day conference in St. Paul, Minnesota. Next year, our school accepted the honor of hosting Shoshin Ryu's Nationals in VA/DC.

Uggggh! Sometimes Facebook just doesn't work for me. I posted this almost two months ago and it didn't post. My apologies for posting so late.

On March 15, 2014 we had a Combat Jujitsu black belt test and Mark Pilch was promoted to 2nd degree and David Sly was promoted to 1st degree black belt. Congratulations to both who worked very hard and were a bit bruised up from a great performance.

Congratulations to all students who passed their color belt test on Saturday. Also, a special congrats to Tyler Shepherd on passing his 1st degree black belt test! Tyler has been training hard and consistently for a long time and joined us in 2001. He received his junior black belt in 2008 and now that he is 18, he was eligible for his 1st degree. Awesome job on your test - welcome to the start of your training.

No classes tomorrow - Saturday, May 3, 2014. We will be holding a Black Belt and color belt test at 10:30 am. Good luck to Tyler Shepherd who will be testing for his 1st degree.

On Saturday, March 15, 2014 Soke Michael DePasquale Jr- MDP Enterprises will be holding a combat jujitsu seminar at Manassas Martial Arts. If you are interested please let me know so you are added to the list of attendees.

After the seminar we will be holding a black belt test for 2 of our students and you are more than welcome to stay and watch.
