It was a crazy day of racing! It rained on and off so the first round we raised with rain tires.
The feature race we ran on slicks as the sky opened up and ended with a 2nd place finish.

A little rain wont stop me. Let's get it done!
What a crazy day of racing. Ridge and mom were pretty much solo since Barry Szczepanski couldn't be there. We made it with a little help from our track family. Thank you Jeff Goetz and Lauren Marie Goetz for getting my kart fixed before my 2nd qualifying round. Jase, Theo (spelling it wrong) for helping getting gas in my kart. Doug Marsh for everything you do for me and MacGyvering my lock after I locke my phone in the trailer. Nikki for my food all day. And everyone who makes this the most fun ever. Max and Conner I love racing with you. To my sponsors for helping me live my dream! Most important my dad because if it wasn't for him none of this would be possible.

It was an amazing day of racing. 1st race in the books. After several struggles I qualified 1st in my first qualifying round, 2nd in my second qualifying round and was pole sitter for the final. I was in the lead in the final heat running awesome times. Unfortunately my chain popped and that was the end of that. I ended up in third place. The struggles are real but you keep going to achieve the best season ever! Thank you to my sponsors. Race day at Thompson Thompson Kart Raceway! Get off your couches and come support me and my friends for the first race of the year. Gates open at 8:30 AM. Practice rounds start at 10AM.

Not one picture today at Thompson Kart Raceway because it was cold and windy. The race families are back at it. First race is Sunday April 26th! Come out and cheer on all our racers!
We had an awesome 2 days of work to practice at Thompson Kart Raceway. Nothing like being around family and friends. Meeting new people who will become family with the same goal of supporting, encouraging and eventually achieve the ultimate goal of winners. Thank you to my dad Barry Szczepanski for putting my new k100 engine in my new kart, Doug Marsh for my new engine and giving me a great place to race, Bob Davis for helping me today and always, and to my sponsors for believing in me.
