This is my new favorite way to organize kidsâ ribbons and medals. Such a great way to display them without taking up too much space or getting tangled up in a drawer.
It keeps the memories without the clutter, and looks beautiful doing it.

I love finding little ways to make a space feel more put together without adding more stuff. â¨đŞ´
For this fireplace, we worked with what we already had and added a simple DIY touch to finish off the plants with moss. Such a small change, but it made the whole space feel a little more elevated.

As a professional organizer I too have things Iâve held onto just in case that I absolutely should not. For instance, this paper shredder. We have not used it once. Not a single time. Still sitting in our house living its best life.

Iâve been in some really big, beautiful homes. And Iâve seen the same exact chaos hiding behind those big beautiful closet doors.
More square footage doesnât fix the problem. It just means thereâs more room for the stuff without a home to spread out into.
The space was never the issue. It was always the system.
So if youâve been waiting until you move somewhere bigger to finally get organized, donât wait! The system can work right where you are.

10 things Iâm constantly removing from homes as a pro organizer: đđ¨
The âBag of Bagsâ: You donât need a stash that could supply a grocery store.
Single Socks: If the dryer hasnât given it back by now, itâs gone. đ§Ś
Mystery Cables: If you donât know what it charges, itâs just clutter.
âGoodâ Boxes: Stop saving the iPhone boxes; theyâre just taking up shelf real estate. đŚ
Stranded Lids: Tupperware without a base is just a plastic frisbee.
Sauce Packets: They actually do expire, and you probably have a fresh bottle in the fridge anyway. đ§´
Extra Chopsticks: Keep two sets, toss the other twenty. đĽ˘
Expired Sunscreen: It loses its effectiveness! Protect your skin, toss the old bottles. âď¸
Old Hand Sanitizer: If itâs from 2020, itâs time to say goodbye.
