This also includes simply - my dogs are on the lead because we're walking home up the road. So please don't let your two 'friendly' labradors come racing over to my 5 on lead dogs, including my 13 week old puppy who is just learning about other dogs. If he was a nervous puppy, he might now be worried about black labs for life.
Letting your off lead dog/s run up to a group of on lead dogs could have disastrous consequences, two of mine are 13 years plus, and my ten year old has an injury. All of my dogs were totally under control and luckily none of them are reactive - but how could this person tell that as her labs ran across the lane to me.
Please think when you see a dog on lead, and do not let your dog run up to them.

My heart is heavy. Another amazing fur baby has left this world. Yogi passed away on January 1, 2018. I had just spent three day staying with Yogi and caring for him while his family was on vacation. We had so much fun going on many walks throughout the day, playing ball at night, snuggling on the couch, and Yogi getting lots of treats from me. I am going to miss that big guy so much. He was like a fur child to me and I loved him as much as I love my own. For the past almost two years (until I moved) I walked Yogi five days a week. We had a special friendship. He greeted me at the top of the stairs when I walked in the house. He gave me that awesome Goldendoodle smile and ran to get his leash because he knew I was there just for him. I loved the way he would press his big body up against me and how he always had to have something in his mouth as we were getting ready for our walk. Most of the time it was his leash. He was so good on our walks and anytime we walked near other dogs he would look to me for a treat because he knew he was a good boy. He was a big goofy guy who stole my heart from day one. I can’t even explain how much I am going to miss him and miss just knowing he is in Charleston and I will get to walk him when I come in town. Prayers for his family as they grieve this unexpected loss of their big furry boy. Love you Yogi! I will miss all of the joy you brought into my life. I will see you soon Big guy! I hope Alice and Sam are showing you around your new home.
