TRAINING: Now as a growing 4 year old gelding, Archie has been in training with our Grand Prix Dressage trainer, Nancy Wesolek Sterret. He is now nearly a year in training and proving to be a FANTASTIC gelding for an adult amateur or confident JR/YR in a program with serious potential for upper level dressage. Archie is nicely forward without being tense and he can take a joke. He is W/T/C under saddle, leg yield, turn on the forehand/ haunches, and strength training over poles. Archie is a great amateur gelding with an excellent foundation. More information and videos upon request.
PEDIGREE: Archie's sire, Toftegaardens Codex (17H), has been a prolific Canadian Stallion, producing exceptional foal crops. He is one of the only fewspot Knabstrupper stallions to show and place in FEI/PSG levels in North America. Archie's dam, CCS Galadriel was sired by the Dressage legend Don Principe (Donnerhall x Prince Thatch XX). World renowned Hanoverian Stallion, Don Principe, was the leading sire of Dressage horses as ranked by the US Equestrian Federation. Don Principe is known for his show wins due to his athletic ability, trainability, superb movement, a strong work ethic, and a high level of dressage talent.
It's easy to see how this power packed lineage has gifted Archetypic TE with some amazing traits. His large stature is imposing in the riding ring, with his quality confirmation and uphill gaits, combining the presence and athletic ability of the great dressage horses who built his family tree. He is searching for his next forever partner whether it be in the Dressage ring or Hunter arena.
