Today we’re celebrating dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who encourage, support, teach, and love their families well.

Working on a swap card design today and pulling together some possibilities. 😊

Right now I’m leaning toward using the Relaxing Waterside stamp set and these beautiful coastal papers… but who knows? I may end up going in a completely different direction before it’s all said and done! 😂

When I’m designing, I usually spend a little time playing with supplies and seeing what sparks an idea.

Sometimes the hardest part is deciding where to start!

What inspires you the most when designing?

🎨 The colors
📄 The paper
✂️ The stamp set

For me, it can be any of the three depending on what inspires me first.

And yes, I’ll be sure to share the finished card once all the swappers receive theirs—I don’t want to spoil the surprise! 😉

🍉 Do you have the Everyday Arches Dies?

I thought this was such a clever idea! Stampin’ Up! shared a fun technique for creating watermelon slices with the Everyday Arches Dies, blending, and a little water.

I actually just ordered these dies during the Free Shipping promotion, and now I can't wait to play with them! I love products that can be used in lots of different ways, and these seem perfect for that.
