Royster announced the donation of approximately 50 acres of land to the City of Shelby for a new Municipal Park on April 26th, 1948. This land was developed and a nine hole course was dedicated as the Royster Memorial Golf Course as part of the Shelby Parks and Recreation Department. Friday 7/3/2026 - No carts out after 1:00 pm. All carts in by 3:00 pm to allow staff to prep for the Fireworks that evening.
Monday 7/6/2026 - Course is closed to regular play as we host the Foothills Jr. Golf Summer Tour. Call after 1:00 pm for tee times.
Tuesday 7/7/2026 - Course will be CLOSED for the aerification and top dressing of our greens.
Wednesday 7/8/2026 - RMGC will open for regular play at 8:00 am.
