Piedmont APA had the privilege of hosting Fall Singles Regionals this weekend, witnessing great competition and exceptional sportsmanship as players competed for their chance to compete at the highest level in our APA Poolplayers Championship in Las Vegas. And just like that, our first qualifier tournament for the Shoot for a Cure tournament benefitting St. Jude Research Hospital is a wrap! Congratulations to today's champions, Geoff and Christian Sadler, aka Sadler Up!

The room was filled with intense competition and stellar sportsmanship today as 19 teams competed for their chance to compete at the Shoot for a Cure tournament in December. It was heartwarming to see our Piedmont APA family come together for a great cause. We would like to extend our gratitude to Irish Cue for hosting us, and to our Division Reps and volunteers that came together to make this event a success. Every contribution large or small is important and appreciated.

This past weekend was for the MVPs, and what a great time we had! Our MVPs represented us well, from the stellar sportsmanship to the intense competition.
We are proud to announce our 6 MVP Champions for the Summer 2026 Session that will advance to Spring Regionals in March, and additionally, our 44 finalists that will advance to our MVP Main Event Tournament in Summer 2027.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to The Cue in Hickory, NC and staff for hosting our event, and our Division Reps and volunteers that helped make the weekend a success.
