Charlotte, I’ll see you this Sunday! 🏁

I’ll be at the Game Plan for Life trailer in the Fan Zone at 12:45 PM. I always enjoy getting the chance to meet race fans, hear your stories, and share a little about what God has done in my life.
This is the first of our final four Track Ministry stops of the season, so I hope you’ll come by and say hello.

We live in a world where everyone wants to be heard. But sometimes the most Christlike thing you can do is listen. Before defending yourself, proving your point, or responding in anger, take a moment to actually hear the person in front of you.

Have one conversation today where you focus more on listening than responding.

Some people are carrying pain that nobody else can see. God does not distance Himself from people who are hurting. He draws near to them. If you’re struggling today, you don’t have to pretend everything is okay before coming to God.

Bring the thing that hurts most to God in prayer today.

You don’t have to match someone else’s anger. Sometimes the strongest response is the one you choose not to give. God calls us to have enough self-control to respond with grace, even when someone else isn’t.

The next time a conversation gets heated, slow down before you respond. You are in control of your emotions.

Lord, as we begin this new month, I pray that You would guide us in every area of our lives. Help us put You first in our decisions, our families, our work, our relationships, and everything we do.

Protect our families, strengthen those who are struggling, comfort those who are hurting, and remind us that we never have to face anything alone.

Help us be a light to the people around us this month. Give us opportunities to encourage someone, serve someone, forgive someone, and point someone closer to You. Let our words and actions reflect Christ wherever we go.

Lord, use this month to grow our faith, strengthen our relationships with You, and help us become the people You have called us to be.
We give October to You. Lead us, protect us, and use us for Your glory.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

"The Lord will keep you from all harm,he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." – Psalm 121:7-8

September is coming to an end, and there's a lot we can look back on things that went according to plan and things that didn't. Through all of it, God has remained faithful. We may not know what October will bring, but we don't have to be afraid of tomorrow because the God who carried us through today will still be there.

End the month by thanking God for His protection and faithfulness, then give Him whatever you're carrying into October.

Real strength isn't always loud. Sometimes the strongest person in the room is the one who has every reason to lose their temper but chooses self-control instead. Jesus gives us a better way to handle frustration, conflict, and disagreement.

When your patience is tested today, choose self-control and let Christ guide your response.
