A Day in the Life of a Practice Owner ๐
Every day looks a little different when you're running a group mental health practice. Here's a glimpse into one day with our owner, Meegan:

โข 9:30 AM โ Coffee first โ , head into office ๐๏ธ
โข 10:00 AM โ Emails & admin work and a visit with our therapy dog , Gatsby ๐พ
โข 11:00 AMโ1:00 PM โ Client sessions ๐
โข 1:00 PM โ Weekly check in with our Practice Manager
โข 1:30 PM โ Documentation, marketing, social media, event planning, and more emails ๐ป
โข 3:00 PM โ Head home, lunch break & playtime with Ollie ๐ฟ
โข 3:30 PM โ Reviewing financials and bonus structures, trying to figure out how to compensate our employees more ๐ต
โข 5:00 PM โ Solving unexpected issues, brainstorming/planning, business development, prep for tomorrow's meetings ๐
โข 7:00 PM โ Taco Mama for dinner ๐ฎ
โข 8:00 PM โ Evening walk with Ollie and husband โค๏ธ
โข 9:00 PM โ While she wishes she could say reading, she actually is unwinding with her fav trash tv shows ๐บ
โข 10:30 PM โ Bed ๐ด
And the to do list? It's never really finished, it will still be there tomorrow including...
โข Office projects, like fixing a couch
โข Organizational planning
โข Team support
โข And whatever unexpected challenge pops up the next day ๐
Owning a practice means wearing a lot of hats. Some days are filled with meetings, others are leadership, marketing, finances, or just problem solving and (trying to) plan ahead. No two days are ever the same, but every day is centered around one goal: creating a place where both our clients and clinicians feel supported. ๐ค
