🏁 Weekend recap from the Summer Sling INEX National Qualifier at Dominion Raceway 🏁

This weekend was another first for RXR. First time on this road course in the Bandolero… and first time in a long time we had to worry about turning right 😄

Finding the right line took some work, and we battled some engine troubles toward the end of the weekend. Good thing we’ve got a new engine coming soon. We were also lined up against some of the best Outlaw and Bandit drivers out there. No beginner class at this one.

Race 1: P14 → P12
Race 2: P13 → P11
Race 3: P14 → P10
Race 4: P13 → P8
Race 5: P7 → DNF

With the exception of that last race, when the engine really started acting up, Ryder got faster every lap and finished better every time he went back out. Proud of how he kept after it.

It was great hanging out with teammates Penelope Ki Racing, Chandler Stanley Racing, Haplin, Killa Cam Truett, and watching their progress and success too.

Next up is Bandolero Nationals at Echo Park. Hoping the new engine is in by then and looking forward to seeing what Ryder can do behind the wheel there.

Training isn’t always on the track!

This part may not look as exciting as race day, but it’s just as important. The strength, endurance, and discipline Ryder is building off the track will help him push harder when the green flag drops.

Proud of the work he’s putting in away from the car. This is how we get better.

We’re going to try turning right for a change 😄
Should be a fun challenge and a great way to keep learning. Looking forward to three days of racing and getting some road course experience under Ryder’s belt.

🏁 Weekend Recap – Dominion Raceway 🏁
What a weekend of ups, downs, and pure determination!

Friday
We got a lot of good practice in and completed one round of qualifying before the race was rained out. That left us with more qualifying and two races on Saturday.

Saturday
We battled engine troubles all day — the motor was lagging at full throttle through practice and both rounds of qualifying. The team worked nonstop, changing out spark plugs, the fuel filter, the fuel pump, and finally we swapped the carburetor. That last change made a big difference.

Race 1
Qualified P7 → Finished P4

Race 2
Qualified P6 → Finished P2

Ryder drove his heart out through the adversity and frustration of the engine issues. Really proud of how he handled it.

Huge congratulations to Chandler Stanley Racing on the big win in the second race — well deserved!

Big thank you to Tommy from Neal Cantor Racing for all the hard work trying to get Ryder on a level playing field. And a massive thank you to Justin Carlisle from Penelope Ki Racing for jumping in and helping get Ryder back out there when it counted. It’s awesome being part of a team that shows up for each other in the clutch moments.

🏁 Cookout Summer Shootout – Round 10 (Final Round) Recap 🏁

What a way to close out the Summer Shootout!
Ryder struggled in qualifying this round. We’re still not sure if it was the car or last-round jitters, but he was noticeably slower than he had been in practice the day before. That put us in the B-Main.

After a long talk with his teammates, coach, and Dad, Ryder was locked in and ready to show where he belonged.

Starting from the #1 position, he led every single lap of the B-Main. He fended off several pass attempts and brought home the checkered flag —our first win — and how special that it happened right here at Charlotte Motor Speedway!

So proud of the determination he showed and the way he overcame the obstacles in front of him. That’s the kind of fight we love to see.
