🔶🔷 **Meet Our Coaching Staff** 🔷🔶

Please join us in welcoming Assistant Coach Andrew Fugate to the coaching staff!

One of the things that stood out to me about Andrew from the very beginning was his attitude. Before we ever talked about specific responsibilities, his message was simple: "I'll help wherever you need me." That team-first mindset is exactly the type of coach we wanted to surround our players with.

Andrew has coached at several levels of the game, including travel softball, youth baseball, and two seasons as an assistant coach at Bledsoe County High School. During his time there, the program won back-to-back district championships and made the first state tournament appearance in school history.

While Andrew has experience coaching bases and enjoys the aggressive, situational side of the game, his real passion today is pitcher development. He genuinely enjoys helping young athletes build confidence, improve their skills, and experience the reward that comes from consistent hard work. He's invested in teaching, not simply getting through another practice.

That passion made him a natural fit for one of the most important areas of our program. Andrew will play a major role in helping design and implement our battery development system, working closely with our pitchers and catchers to build communication, leadership, game management, and the daily habits that allow those positions to thrive together.

Andrew also brings a willingness to do the little things that often go unnoticed. Whether it's scouting opponents, studying hitters, helping with game strategy, or jumping in wherever the team needs support, he's the kind of coach who puts the success of the players ahead of everything else.

We're excited to welcome Andrew to the coaching staff, and we're equally excited to have Anna Kate, Angie and the entire Fugate family as part of the Mojo family.

Rounding out the inaugural roster of TN Mojo 2034 – White, this addition feels like the perfect reminder to trust the process and believe that what is meant to be will find its way.

Through circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Savannah Lamb and her family unexpectedly found themselves searching for the next chapter of her softball journey. At the same time, we were searching for one final player who could fill a very specific need within our roster.

The fit could not have been more natural.

When we began building this team, we understood there might be times when we would have to choose cultural fit over talent, attitude over a particular skill set, or a locked-in competitor over a more recognizable name. Creating the right environment has always mattered more than simply collecting players. The standards, values and culture of this team were established before the roster ever began to take shape.

Then a player like Savannah comes along, and suddenly, there are no sacrifices or compromises required.

She brings the talent.
She brings the work ethic.
She brings the focus.
She brings the attitude.
She brings a genuine love for the game.

Savannah embraces the work, remains unfazed by difficult challenges and competes with a level of focus that immediately stands out. She is an outstanding teammate, comes from an incredible family and represents exactly the type of player we hoped to build this program around.

Behind the plate, at the plate or anywhere we need her in the field, Savannah is the type of player who elevates the people around her. She competes for her teammates, responds when the moment gets difficult and has a way of coming through when her team needs her most.

Adding Savannah feels like the exclamation point on a roster that has already become everything a coaching staff could dream of building.
