There’s no ball field or court that will ever compare to watching them succeed as young girls growing into successful women. It’s went by way too fast, but please congratulate these “Middle Schoolers” and wish them success into the next chapter of their young lives. We’re so proud of you!

Team Colors/Names change thru their careers; that’s just the nature of the game. What doesn’t change are coaches that cheer them on regardless of where that journey takes them.
Congratulations to former FE 2015 player Lanie Crider on her selection to the Westside Middle School Softball Team. We’re proud of you Lanie!

🖤 That’s all for 10U Softball! ❤️
We finished our last 10U tournament as Undefeated Gold Bracket Champions and end our Spring Season with a 21-9 record.
The transition from coach to kid pitch doesn’t come easy at this developmental age but we’re proud of the work these ladies have put in with great attitude and effort.
Now, it’s time to start preparing them for middle school/12U ball as some enter tryouts as early as this week. We know what we’re up against with bigger, stronger, and faster teams. The road won’t be easy, but we’ll face it together with patience and resilience as they continue to develop mentally and physically. Some will continue to pursue their dream of playing softball, some may find life outside of it and that’s ok. They know we support their decisions and dreams as they enter another milestone in their young lives.
Proud and thankful. ❤️🥎🖤

Coaching Boys: Your words shape how they perform.
Coaching Girls: Your words shape how they see themselves.
Coaching Boys: Challenge them and they'll compete for you.
Coaching Girls: Connect with them and they'll compete for you — harder than you ever expected. But that connection has to come first.
Coaching Boys: After a mistake, challenge them and they'll bounce back to prove you wrong.
Coaching Girls: After a mistake, she's already tearing herself apart inside. She doesn't need your frustration. She needs you to remind her that one bad play doesn't define her.
Coaching Boys: After a loss, they want to know what to fix immediately.
Coaching Girls: After a loss, she needs to know you still believe in her before she can hear a single thing you want her to fix.
Coaching boys and coaching girls is not the same thing. Most coaches never take the time to learn the difference. But the ones who do? They don't just win more games, they change lives. The best coaches don't just teach the game, they learn the player. That's the difference. - Alison Furno
