Our lady pioneers bringing home some hardware from the State Track Competition! Way to go!

We had a great turnout tonight for our 2025-2026 Season banquet. Thank you to all those who support these young men and women both on and off the mat! Join us in congratulating our Pioneer wrestlers for their successful season and their commitment to putting in the work!

Reminder that our end of season banquet for both male and female wrestlers will be this Friday (April 10th) in the East Ridge High School cafeteria at 5:00pm. We will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone before the awards ceremony.

We encourage all wrestlers and their parents/loved ones to come and recognize all their hard work and dedication this season!

East Ridge senior Samarah Tafiti a trailblazer for Pioneers in girls’ wrestling | Chattanooga Times Free Press Samarah Tafiti is ranked as one of the top 30 prep wrestlers in the country at her weight class, and she has already enjoyed a measure of national success.

That’s a wrap! Just like that this wrestling season is over. Forever proud of this group for their drive, continued growth and passion for the sport. Samarah Tafiti brought home 3rd place! A third time medalist, she joins only four others in East Ridge wrestling history (since 1963) to accomplish that. Now for a small break, and then back to work for next season!

Great weekend at Sectionals. We took 6 girls to the tournament and 5 qualified for State!! 5!! 5 girls to the State Tournament in our 3rd year as a program! And 2 of them were Section champions! I could not be any more proud of this entire team and season! Now let’s go to Franklin and bring home some hardware!

3rd place overall as a team at Queen of the North tournament in Huntsville, AL today!!! This is the first piece of hardware for the Lady Pioneers, so history made today 😀 And we crowned 2 Queens and 3 others placed! Great day wrestling of today!!

Your East Ridge Pioneers brought 6 wrestlers to the tournament at Chattanooga Central and left with 4 placers! We finished 4th overall out of 17 teams!

Levi Hogan (126 lbs) 3rd Place
Kam Parks (138 lbs) 3rd Place

A great day at the Lady Panthers Invitational. 6 out of 10 girls brought home a medal. And Samarah Tafiti was named Outstanding Wrestler, an honor voted on by coaches. We placed 3rd overall as a team, finishing behind Cleveland and Knox Halls.
