What a weekend it was!!

While we didn’t get the results we wanted this weekend, the neers had a blast on our first ever road trip to Boston.

During the trip we made friends with and the members of the program. We were fortunate enough to be able to support one of their players Noah Staffier and wear blue ribbons with them, to honor his late uncle.

We also would like to give a huge shoutout to Lasell University and their baseball coaches Coach Uberti and Coach Trottier for hosting us and giving us a tour of their campus and their facilities.

Thank you Massachusetts for hosting us, we definitely can’t way to be back up to compete!

Another strong weekend from the boys with a 2-1 record bringing our record to 6-3 on the summer.

Another spotlight day, with this one being 2023 Grad Donny DiDonato. Donny is having a very strong start to the summer so far, in 12 innings pitched, he currently holds a 2.27 ERA and a BAA of .109.

A strong student in the classroom and a bulldog in the mound. He oozes confidence and the coaches always know he will battle and compete every time he takes the hill.

After a tough weekend last weekend a fresh post here seemed appropriate with a player spotlight… with todays edition being 2023 grad, Catcher Peter Longo.

A stalwart behind the plate, Pete has been a masterful game caller thus far and is a huge reason our team is 4-2.

Not to mention Pete is also our cleanup hitter. Pete is a big bat and is always ready to do damage.

There’s a reason why this kid was the Captain of the baseball team and a 2nd Team All-Olympic Conference selection, he is a leader on and off the field and a coaches dream for a catcher.

Great weekend for our boys!! Went 3-0 on the weekend with contributions from all players.

Our new tradition will be highlighting our teams best hitter that weekend with the “Big Stick” award!

This weeks recipient is our 3 hitter and first baseman, 2023 grad Zach Chhabria . Zach had 4 hits this weekend including a double and triple, 4 RBI’s and 5 runs scored. Very well deserved Zach, stay hot kid!

Strong start to year 2 for the squad. 1st win of the new season thanks to no-hitter from rising Junior Michael Schulke with the Mutineers winning 12-1. 2 more games tomorrow to wrap up our first weekend of the summer.

It’s been a minute but man is this pitching staff elite 😈😈 these guys have been working their tails off all fall (all of our boys have for that matter) but since they took the PO pic together I have to post it 😈😈

Sorry for no post yesterday, but we’re back to in Brandon Zachary.

B Zachs is a 2014 graduate of Cherry Hill High School West where he was a 2 year starting pitcher. He then went on to pitch at TCNJ, and won the Co-NJAC pitcher of the year in 2016. In 2020, B Zachs most recent stop was in the AABC and played for the Skyland Cardinals.

B Zachs has also been coaching since 2015 and his most recent stop at Camden County College where he was their pitching coach.

We are honored to have a quality baseball guy but an even better person to be a part of this staff. we are looking forward to having him as a part of the player development as well as part of the Mutineer family!

For today’s edition of and the third and final co-founder of of the South Jersey Mutineers is Mark Hutchinson.

Mark was a three year varsity letterman pitcher at Cherry Hill West. After high school, Mark immediately entered the coaching scene due to lingering arm injuries and hasn’t looked back. He has coached at American Legion, Won a State Championship with Cherry Hill American, and come spring 2022 will be the Varsity Pitching Coach at Cherry Hill East.

Mark is extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with the future of South Jersey Baseball, and is excited for the kids to love the game of baseball but to enjoy the grind as they strive towards their personal and team goals.

Get ready to try and match his energy folks, cause Hutch’s energy and passion for the game is always at a 💯

Day number 2 of the second co-founder and one of many pitching coaches in the program is Nick Kleftogiannis.

While Nick will not be coaching with us in the fall, we are looking forward to having him involved in this program.

Nick was a 4 year reliever at TCNJ, and also finished in the top-10 in school history for single season ERA at 1.31.

Nick has been coaching for many years now being involved in programs such as American Legion, Cherry Hill American where he was a State Champion, and most recently at Cherry Hill High School West where he serves as their pitching coach.

We are very happy to have Klefto as a part of our future and we can’t wait to see his further successes as a coach.

It’s time to with our coaches for the program. First, we meet one of the co-founders and hitting coach for the program is Nick Sylvester. Nick is a rising sophomore at Rutgers-Camden where he does the catching duties for the Scarlet Raptors.

At Cherry Hill West, Nick was a 2nd Team All-Conference as well as a Carpenter Cup team selection. We are very grateful to have someone as passionate as Sylvie as a part of our staff, and we are looking forward to his successes as an individual player and as a coach leading these men.
