One year can make quite a difference. ✨
Looking back at where Max started compared to where he is today, it’s incredible to see how much this young stallion has grown. Not just in his training, but in his confidence, strength, and understanding of the work.
Developing young horses is never a straight line, but watching Max begin to come into his own has made every step worthwhile.
The future is bright for this horse, and I can’t wait to see where the next year takes him! 🐴🤍

“The Circle of Success” doing exactly what it was designed to do. 🤩
A simple setup with zero room for a drifting canter. Every turn changes the distance, every stride shows up somewhere, and somehow the circle feels smaller every lap. 😂
Not always pretty, but definitely effective. 👀🔥

This exercise has been humbling riders for MANY years…
This week’s is the classic “Circle of Success” - four fences placed on a 20 meter circle to test your adjustability, accuracy, turn alignment, and expose weaknesses in the canter.
There’s nowhere to hide in this exercise. Your track matters, your balance matters, and every decision shows up fast. Add, leave out, collect, open — the goal is learning how to keep the canter organized while staying smooth and connected the entire way around.
Done right, this exercise sharpens your eye, improves responsiveness and alignment, and teaches both horse and rider how to recover when things don’t go perfectly to plan. Start small, stay patient, and let the circle expose the weak spots so you can fix them. 🔥
Who’s adding this one to the ride plan this week? 👇

Love seeing these Nutrena Feed Facts and the support they give my horses young and old! 💚
Another myth or fact? 🤔 When it comes to supporting healthy foal growth, crude protein alone isn’t enough.

When the CEO starts talking science, you listen 👀🐎
While in Kentucky last month, I met up with Jim Ruder, CEO of Back on Track, to talk about the technology behind the Quick Wraps and why they’ve become such an important part of my horses’ routine.
Always cool getting to hear the “why” behind products you genuinely trust and use every day.
