Boys hit the road Friday to kick off Central Iowa Sports Super NIT in Des Moines. 11 Major teams and a really strong AAA team in a stout field for the final tourney of the Midwest Majors Series. Weekend kicked off with an 8pm game Friday night, followed by 2 more pool games Saturday evening, then bracket play today. They took the 1 seed into Sunday and battled through some tough teams and games to bring home the hardware! Happy (long) drive home for these boys!!

Alright - Sunday is wrapped! Finished pool play 4-0 and made bracket play with the 2 seed. Kicking off Memorial Day bright and early!

Finished the day 2-0. 2 more pool games tomorrow (12:00 & 4:00) to qualify for Monday’s bracket of 8. Let’s go!!

Off to KC for the Super NIT and round 2 of the Midwest Majors Series! Just about every state in the Midwest is represented - ready for some great baseball!

Pool Play Saturday brought some awesome weather and the boys played clean baseball! 35-2 in 2 games, including a perfect game in game 1. 0 errors, 24 hits, and just 1 BB for the day. Taking the 1 seed into Sunday - just gotta go earn it!

Heading south to Cape G in the morning for USSSA-Baseball May Madness tourney!

Heck of a day 1! Game 1 ended 12-0 good guys - game 2 battled several delays and ultimately ended to the rain & tornado warnings after being up 7-0 in top 2nd. Pulled the 2 seed in gold bracket headed into Sunday play since we only finished 1 game.

These Tiger boys are READY for Sunday!

Another busy week ahead! Late night league game Thursday, followed by a trip north to Des Moines for a USSSA-Baseball tourney with Central Iowa Sports in our first round of the Midwest Majors Series!

Championship Sunday was a fun one! Bats were hot from start to finish with a .523 average at the plate. Big thank you to Perfect Game Midwest for another great tourney and all of our sponsors for making it all possible!

What a weekend…

Boys came out and didn’t play well in our pool games, and took a 3 seed into bracket play which kicked off at 9pm Saturday. That “lose and go home” element seemed to change their focus and approach - which led to outscoring the field 40-7 in their 3 bracket games ending in their 1st Super Regional championship.

53 hits, 19 doubles, 5 triples, and our first HR. There were a good 8 balls or so that the fence kept in the park (pushups at next practice)
Gave up just 2 XBH on the weekend from the bump.

Proudest stat: had 9 arms go - Boys waited for their turn and got the job done when their number was called.

Back to work this week - and another Perfect Game Midwest tourney ahead this weekend. Have plenty to work on and clean up, but can’t wait to get back at it!

League play kicks off tonight!

Here’s our next 30! Seems like a light April compared to March - boys kick off their 10u league play this week against another Rawlings Tigers team (8:00 on Thursday in Chesterfield), and then get their first weekend to catch some fish and play golf!

Another Perfect Game Midwest Super Regional and then we head to Des Moines for Central Iowa Sports Super NIT later this month.

That 4-day stretch is gonna be brutal for them - my money is on a game breaking out somewhere!

Wrapped up our busiest March to date with a tourney win. 2 trips to Tennessee, 2 tournaments in IL, and finally one in our back yard in Eureka with Play9 Sports at their awesome new complex. 21 baseball games to kick off the year, and the boys are bummed that we have next weekend off. We’ve put them in front of some incredible teams, played up, and have pushed them every week to find what it takes to compete at a high level.

17-4 to kick off the year; 3 championships, a 2nd place 10u finish, and a full slate of competitive baseball ahead. Bring on April!
