Not for Profit German Cultural Orgainization The St. Louis Schuetzenverein will soon be celebrating our 60th anniversary. at the Chesterfield Mall.
We are a social organization and also compete in Olympic style competitions using air rifles and air pistols. The organization was founded with seven members in 1961, and today is proud to boast over seven times that. We accept both men and women into our organization who share an interest in German Culture, traditions, language, and competitive shooting (upon membership approval, per our bylaws.)

A few club members had a nice little outing today at one of our favorite spots: Tiny's Tavern & Grill!
In conjunction with the German Cultural Society of St Louis and the FC Bayern Fan Club of Metro St Louis, they hosted a watch party for the FC Bayern vs Bayer Leverkusen game.

Every year on the second Sunday in November, Germany observes the National Day of Mourning: Volkstrauertag.
Various commemorative events take place in cemeteries or places of remembrance as well as church services throughout Germany. In addition, German representations abroad organise commemorative events at war graves cemeteries worldwide in cooperation with the German War Graves Commission and international partners.

Opening ceremonies at SCO
