Yesterday marked a major milestone for Chute 9.

The Arrowhead was officially placed on the siding for all to see, a powerful symbol of what this new chapter represents. Even more special, the Arrowhead was signed by the General Committee and staff who helped bring this vision to life.

We cannot wait to welcome everyone back to Frontier Park to experience Chute 9 for yourselves.

Last fall, the United States Department of the Interior formally recognized July 23 as the Day of the American West in conjunction with Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Since 1897, Frontier Park has been where Western heritage is not just honored, it is alive and well. This is not just another day in Cheyenne. It is a full Western celebration with parades rolling through town, rodeo action in the arena, country music under the Wyoming sky, cold beer in hand, and the American spirit on full display.

These traditions have long lived in their truest form at Frontier Park, and they continue to evolve with the addition of the brand new Morning Star American Indian Village, which will play a meaningful role in this historic celebration.

The sun is out, the days are longer and it is officially time to trade felt for straw. Nothing says summer on Frontier Park quite like a fresh straw hat and a little Wyoming sunshine.

Monday, July 20 will be Military Monday on Frontier Park.

All active-duty service members and veterans, along with their spouses and dependent children, are eligible to receive complimentary tickets and free gate admission.

We strongly encourage families to reserve tickets in advance. Tickets may be claimed through Vet Tix or by calling the Ticket Office at (307) 778-7222 to arrange digital delivery with an emailed copy of a valid Military ID (CAC, USID, VHIC, VIC, or DoD).
