TRANQUILITY
The first bedroom at the top of the Grand Staircase, Tranquility is the largest bedroom of them all. Take advantage of the window light coming in through the 6 original panes of the bay window. Enjoy the extra space afforded by the two closets.

This bedroom took the longest to make over due to the damage to the walls from falling plaster and a poor seal on a window. Many hours went into getting it put back together, including time spent removing many layers of peeling wallpaper! Please note in the picture above the framed bit of original wallpaper, found 8 layers deep. It's in amazing condition, still with vibrant colors - even the gold is still very shiny!

A unique part of Tranquility is the bonus room - an additional bedroom/private space containing the 3rd bed. Potentially a great solution if you are a snorer...or if you are trying to get away from the snorer! There is also a lovely vanity, ceiling fan, and fireplace. Both of the full beds have great outlets next to them.

I've dedicated this bedroom to my Great Grandmother, Edna Mae Simmons Hedquist. You'll find her portraits hanging there, along with several of her handmade items, including the lamp!

It's been almost a year since I've taken a moment to introduce myself to our newcomers. Welcome, everyone!

👋 Hi, I'm Ashley, owner of Hollowberry Manor. Married almost 25 years, 5 kids, and I work in the theatre industry. I grew up on a potato farm in southeast Idaho, and moved to Colorado when I married my husband. Crafting, creativity, and entrepreneurship are in my genes {my great-grandmother Hedquist would be so proud)! I've worked and built every part of my business including the website, the accounting, the photography, the marketing, the interior design, the networking, the painting/wallpapering/millwork, and everything in between. This is what makes my heart sing!

My ADHD brain keeps me going with a variety of interests, so I'm currently: a professional Photographer, a baker of the Best Cinnamon Rolls, Planner of Events, a dedicated Scrapbooker (traditional and digital), and am very involved in my local community.

As a lifelong scrapbooker and memory documenter myself, I've designed this retreat with my fellow creatives in mind. My fellow creatives who also love to create amongst friends, relax in a cozy setting, and have a chance to focus on your projects for a few days. Hollowberry Manor was made to be good for your soul!
