Watching this community grow over the last five years has meant so much to us, and we never take your support for granted. Thank you for moving with us, trusting us, and making feel like so much more than just a studio.

And if you’ve loved your experience here, leaving a Google review is such a meaningful way to support our small business and help others discover our community 🫶 We truly read and appreciate every single one.

📣 Our May 2026 Muscle of the Month: Calves & Achilles 📣

Often overlooked, the calves and Achilles tendon play a quiet but critical role in how you move and feel day to day.

They help propel you forward, stabilize your ankles, and adapt to changes in terrain and pace—whether you’re navigating stairs, walking the lakefront, or moving through a Reformer sequence at . This area also acts like a spring, storing and releasing energy with each step, which makes both strength and elasticity especially important.

When this area is strong and responsive, balance feels easier. Movements feel lighter. You’re able to shift your weight with more confidence and less effort. When there’s weakness or tightness here, it can show up elsewhere—through the feet, knees, or even the hips. That’s why we take a more intentional, integrated approach in class.

You’ll see this focus woven into your movement through:
▪️gradual, controlled rises onto the balls of the feet
▪️slow, lengthened returns to build durability
▪️targeted stretching to support range of motion and ease

The goal isn’t just strength—it’s creating capacity for movement that feels steady, responsive, and supported over time.

Join us this month as we bring more awareness to this essential connection point—and notice what shifts in your practice and beyond.🦶

💪 March Muscle of the Month: Latissimus Dorsi (Lats)

Meet your Latissimus Dorsi — better known as your lats.

These are the large, wing-like muscles that run along the sides of your back, connecting your arms to your spine and pelvis. They’re a powerhouse for posture, strength, and that deep upper-body-to-core connection we’re always cueing in class.

Your lats help you:
• Pull and press with control
• Stabilize your shoulders
• Support healthy posture
• Create power without neck tension

At Restore, you’ll feel them working in:
✨ Pulling Straps
✨ Lat Pull-Downs
✨ Swan
✨ Plank variations

If you’ve ever heard us say, “Slide your shoulders down your back” or “Wrap your arms into your back body” — that’s your lats.

Strong lats = stronger, more supported movement.
Less shrugging. More strength.

See you on the Reformer!
