Well I said I wanted to be on a stage… This Sunday I’ll be a part of this virtual stage with the rest of these talented storytellers. For those of you who don’t know, storytelling has become a creative outlet for me. And the stories we’ve crafted will leave you wanting more😉
Event details:
Connect, relate and laugh with these FAMILY DRAMA stories. True tales (artfully told) of bridging Ghanaian + American culture, loving + detaching from a sibling in Romania, grandpa’s wisdom from his Chinese restaurant, transglobal adoption + expanding ones concept of family and deciding when/how to get involved in another family’s drama back in the day. Powerful. Relatable. Global. Meaningful. These stories will stay with you long after the show.

Here’s a smile to brighten your day😃
I’m at a point in my life where I realize there are certain experiences I want to have while I’m alive and I’m ready to do what’s necessary in order to make them happen.
Do you feel the same way?
One of those experiences is to be on a stage. I want to experience speaking on stages, sharing stories and wisdom. I want to feel the energy of the audience. I want to share messages that connect with people all around the world. But more than anything else, I want to challenge myself to transform into the person who will be make that happen.
How fortunate are we to live in a time where we can create any life we desire? It simply takes clear focus on a singular goal and consistent effort. And I know the “consistent effort” part won’t always feel or look pretty. But that’s the nature of change.
What experiences do you want to have during this “here today, gone tomorrow” life?

This month I’m going deep into my relationship with honesty. We all know the saying, “honesty is the best policy.” But what does your honesty practice look like. How honest are you with others? How honest are you with yourself?
Honesty grants you freedom. Freedom from thoughts, worry, anxiety, etc. You just have to be willing to have the courage to go there with yourself.
How can you be more honest with yourself today?

This post was inspired by a recent experience I had while practicing for an upcoming speech. After watching a video of myself I realized I had a lot of room for improvement. No matter how good you are at something you can always get better. But how often do you intentionally set aside time for the things you want to get better at. Of course, it feels a little uncomfortable at first to realize that you’re not where you want to be. And that may even be the very reason why you don’t make time for skill development. The 🔑 is to understand that no matter where you are today you can always improve. Practice a growth mindset and watch as you transform into an entirely new person right before your eyes.

There’s always something we want to do but are preventing ourselves from doing. A dream we have for ourselves but don’t feel we know the first step to take to make it happen. Stop resisting. We often see people who resisted so much they grew old and that resistance turns into regrets.
“Don’t let your resistance turn into regrets!”
Change the way you think to, “This is something I want to do.”
Take action.
Then, keep taking action.
Any pain that comes from taking action will never hurt as bad as looking back and wishing you would have.
