I’m headed on a road trip tomorrow and looking forward to taking a few days to reset and recharge! Now more than ever it’s important to take time to slow down and focus on the things that bring you joy and energy.

This is how my grandpa would end every conversation he had. While he left the physical earth one year ago today his unwavering positivity and legacy continue to shape and define how I live my life and spend my days. His 101 years were lived to the fullest - a life full of generosity, adventure, family, friends, celebrations, love...and always with a smile.

I’ve been trying to get in the habit of setting intentions and goals on a regular basis. I love the idea of aligning with the phases of the moon because it is a consistent reminder to reevaluate what you want to focus your energy on each month.

I found myself checking out and going on autopilot this week....not feeling super connected or engaged.
—
When this happens, it’s important to take a pause, check in, and reflect. What’s going on in your life? Are you focused or distracted? Pausing and reflecting allows us to turn off autopilot.
—
A pause is more than just slowing down—it creates space for us to start paying attention. And start living with intention.
