In what can only be described as the wettest football game this Bears fan has ever seen, the Chicago Bears came out on top 19-10 over the San Francisco 49ers in a sloppy, slippery, rainy game. The offense for both teams was not great to start, the Niners would get a chunk play here and there and then sputter out. The Bears were non existent on offense through the first half, then they found their rhythm and it started with this gem from OUR QB Justin Fields!...

I did not think this morning while getting ready for work, I would see a long post from Roquan Smith stating he is demanding a trade and he has felt disrespected by the Chicago Bears. The Chicago Bears do not have a pick in the first round this year (yet...) which can make the evening feel uneventful for us Bears fans. I will be watching the draft as I equate this day to an NFL Christmas where every team gets to pick their own presents. We have a new head coach and a new general manager this season, I believe they will be in rebuild mode and do not expect much in way of victories this season....

Justin Fields had a rude awakening into what it is like starting in the NFL. On a bright and sunny day in Cleveland, the Bears managed to only record 47 yards of total offense...not in the first quarter, not in the first half, TOTAL OFFENSE!!! The offensive line allowed 9 sacks and Justin was only afforded .71 seconds to make a throw....

The first preseason game is in the books and Justin Fields did not disappoint! The game started with Andy Dalton taking snaps with the first string offense and nothing really happened. He completed a couple of passes, Monty went on a couple of runs before exiting with an injury (does not seem to be a problem). We have now been in training camp for 12 practices and the Miami Dolphins are practicing with the Bears, there is one key piece (well other ones too) missing from practice, Teven Jenkins. Jenkins has been sidelined with a back injury from Day 1 of camp. This begs the question, when will he practice and will he be available for Week 1?...
