I ran two marathons last week so this week you know where to find me 🏊♀️
My body feels strong, but my mind needs a short run break so filling this week’s program with swims and lots of biking as we continue to train for my first 70.3!!
All eyes on 70.3 Muncie 👀💪👏
And I know exactly what went wrong....oops!!!
First marathon in a while where I had major runner’s trots. 💩
Everything felt so good except for the fact that I had to go to the bathroom about 5x during this race!!
I usually follow a strict carb loading schedule and stick to safe foods the days leading up to a bigger effort like this. I ignored my normal protocol and proceeded to eat a random assortment of food and lots of fatty foods the day before! OOPS.
Sometimes we have to relearn the hard way.
All of my fueling sat well and I did not cramp or feel unfocused once, I knew going into the run it was about to be a rough one.

After months of training for the hills, it all came together so smoothly!!! I felt strong powering up and making up time on the way down each climb!! A new fan of rolling hills!!
Our goal today was to explore the city, have fun, get some good content and hold a steady pace!
I had to stop and use the bathroom about 5x which was not ideal 💩, should have followed my own carb loading plans better! 🫣😂
