757 Swim Bronze I Team

Hello everyone! This page is under new ownership by current Bronze I parents. I believe that those of you that follow this page had kids in the Bronze I group a few years ago so feel free to unfollow this page if you do not want to see Bronze I info.

Hi Bronze I team! The raffle took place and results are posted! Congrats to those winners!!

Happy Monday. I hope you had a nice WARM weekend. As you know, there has been a few team moves and unfortunately I have not yet received a new team roster so everyone is getting this email for now. As soon as I have an updated roster, I will update our email distribution list and ensure, if your swimmer moved, you get on the right Team Captain distribution list.

Raffle Tickets are ready and I will be distributing them to you, regardless if your swimmer changed groups. Please find me on Tuesday's practice to get yours! If you don't know who I am, I am the tall blonde hair girl who sits on the first set of bleachers at the very top! :) If you wont be at practice on Tuesday, please let me know so we can make alternative arrangements!

Info on Raffle:
Your swimmer will receive 20 raffle tickets; they are $10 each ticket so $200 worth of tickets

100% of your raffle sales go to your fundraising goals (Your goal is $133 per quarter for 3 quarters = $399); so if you sell your 20 tickets, you are halfway to your goal. If you sell 40 tickets, you meet your goal!

I have already separated them and will have them in envelopes for you at Tuesday's practice

You MUST return your money collected with ticket stub and any unsold tickets to me by Thursday February 6th's practice!

ALL UNSOLD TICKETS MUST BE RETURNED!!!

ALL MONEY MUST BE TURNED IN MY FEB 6th

The drawing will take place on Sunday, February 9th - GOOD LUCK!

For Bronze I parents - there is a team meeting at Thursday, January 16th's practice with Coach Drew at 5:45 PM. If your swimmer moved groups, you do not need to attend this meeting.

We have a home swim meet this weekend. There are still volunteer spots available. Be sure to sign up!

Hi there, Happy Monday and Halloween week!

Hope everyone had a great swim meet this past weekend. A few updates:

1. Small Change BIG WAVES Fundraiser - Gatorade bottles are due today, 10/28. I am sure if you can't bring them today, they will accept at practice tomorrow. Hope everyone participated!

2. Silent Auction - I am going to do a wine basket for our group. I am asking for financial donations if you'd like to participate by Wednesday, 10/29. Feel free to give me cash, check, Venmo () or PayPal ([email protected]). Unfortunately I will not be at practice tomorrow but should be there on Wednesday and Thursday. Thank you to those who have already donated!

3. Co****le Tournament - it's this Saturday, November 2nd. Don't forget to RSVP: http://bit.ly/cornholejamboree2019

4. Stroke and Turn Clinics - spaces should still be available. You can register for starts clinic on 11/2 and turns clinic on 11/9. Each clinic is $25.

5. Next Meet - Bass Turkey Classic in Richmond on Nov 16th and 17th

Hello all! A few things...

1. Don’t forget the Gatorade bottles are due on Monday, October 28th. I’ll be at practice tomorrow and you can give to me otherwise Tobi will be at practice on Thursday and she will collect them. If you want to bring to the meet this weekend, I’m working hospitality in the main WISC building and you can hand off to me there!

2. We will do a team Silent Auction basket for the Co****le Jamboree. Theme of our basket is TBD - I’ll take ideas but thinking wine and cheese. If you’re willing to donate $$$ to the basket, feel free to give me cash, check, Venmo () or PayPal ([email protected]). Please donate by Wednesday October 29th so I know how much money to work with!! I will gladly make a nice basket for our team!

Hello team!

Just a few items for you this week!

1. Small Change BIG WAVES - fill your Gatorade bottle with SILVER coins. Please plan to turn in by Monday, October 28th. I will collect them at practice on the 24th or at the meet on the 26th/27th.

2. Co****le Jamboree - this is on November 2nd and is open to all swim members and their friends and family. I did not go last year but I heard there was not a lot of involvement from the younger folks. So, let's show up this year and let the kids have fun outside of the pool! Please let me know if you are planning to attend! We can do something special just for our Bronze I swimmers!

3. Spirit Day - It's at Holly Fork Farm on Sunday, 10/20. Our family went this past weekend and we had a blast. They have a fun pass for $14 and allows the kids to participate in all the activities so it was a good Sunday Funday!

4. Shop with Scrip - This is an EASY way to earn money back directly to YOUR fundraising goals. (Our Fundraising is $133 per phase and there are 3 phases). Purchase a gift card before you do any shopping and a percentage goes towards your yearly fundraising goals. There is a code you should use when you register: ED6LL1275729L. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will gladly help you set it up.
