Taft High School-Chicago: Girls Flag Football

Last night was EPIC. The greatest rivalry in Illinois for HS girls flag football did not disappoint. Not only did we break an attendace record with over 1000 people in attendance. After trailing 7-0 at half time, we came back to win 13-7! We have the greatest respect for the LT flag football program and how hard they compete and challenge us. Outside of 1 season, every single game goes into over time, or down to the last play. Last night was no exception! Being the head coach of Taft High School-Chicago: Girls Flag Football is truly special. I am not sure where else in Illinois you will find over 1000 people in attendance for an all girls flag football ticket! Last night's show was worth the price of admission! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our program. Go Eagles!

We went for the win at the end of the game, but failed to convert the 2 point conversion vs the defending 2025 IHSA State Champs Maine South. Great game played by both teams. Now on to the next!
