�You can’t control motivation. It can’t be directly pursued.
What you can control is the series of factors that underpin motivation.
Just knowing this can help you:
* stop waiting for a green light to get started
* realize that, even if it’s hard, taking action gets you closer to the goal that keeps you up at night
* understand that doing the right thing in the moment is totally within your control
�With this approach, no matter what happens, you can move forward and make progress on any given day. And that progress, even if small, feels good and can be enough to keep you going… until the next day.
This is how you achieve great things.
Yes, it might be a long, slow, hard journey. But when we look back on our lives, what we remember most will be the things that were worth struggling for—and the way it felt to earn our happiness.

The Sun and its superpowers! 🌞💪🏻
Did you know that viewing light - especially sunlight - early in the day can help you sleep better at night?
This is because our eyes have light receptors that tell our bodies that is time to wake up.
Approximately 12 hours after your eyes have sensed light for the first time, your pineal gland will start to produce melatonin, signaling your body that is time to prepare for sleep.
If you have trouble falling and staying asleep at night, experiment with increasing light exposure during the day and reducing light exposure at night.

When trying to improve your breathing for the purposes of Health and/or Performance Movement needs to be an important part of the conversation.
Working with Jiu-Jitsu athlete on his conditioning has taught me a lot on the importance of Movement.
How well you move matters to how well you want to live!

Ensuring a good night of sleep may be one of the most important interventions to improve your health!
Getting poor sleep can badly damage your health, without sleep the brain cannot function properly.
“Within the brain, sleep enriches our ability to learn, memorize, and make logical decisions. It recalibrates our emotions, restocks our immune system, fine-tunes our metabolism, and regulates our appetite.” Excerpt from Why We Sleep, by Matthew Walker.
If sleep is one of those areas you can improve, here are a few tips to help you with that:
— Keep a regular sleep-wake cycle
— Get your eyes exposed to sunlight as early as possible and multiple times during the day
— Keep a cool, dark environment
— Avoid big meals & alcohol ~2 hours prior to bedtime
— Meditate
This list can be longer or shorter, depending on the areas you need improvement. The point is, many things can impact sleep negatively and sleep greatly impacts overall health.
When looking to get healthier, leaner, perform better, learn better, you name it, sleep should be on the top of your priority list.
