Finding peace, relaxation, and therapy in fishing. It's all about the experience!
So excited to gear up for another fishing season! We had 47 kids in Nature Hooked last year. Can't wait to train another group of young anglers. We are currently taking donations for any fishing gear. Please reach out if you can support in anyway.

Was blessed to be a part of Illinois Department of Natural Resources Nature Fest at William Powers wolf lake. I always enjoy helping the kids learn how to fish! It was a great turn out and we had a great time! Thank you to all those that came out to support!

It’s finally here! June 13-16 is Illinois Free Fishing Days. During these four days, everyone can fish in Illinois lakes and waterways without a fishing license, salmon stamp or inland trout stamp. It's a wonderful opportunity to introduce the young people in your life to the joy of fishing and spending time on the water.
For Illinois residents, a standard yearly fishing license costs just $15 a year. License fees help the Illinois Department of Natural Resources conserve fish populations and fish habitats though critical activities like fish production, fish stocking, and habitat restoration. To learn more about licenses, visit https://dnr.illinois.gov/lpr/fishinglicensesfees.html.
We'll see you on the water!
Though cold, it was therapeutic to get to my happy place. No fish but a great time was had. Fire, hot chocolate, and warm cider always helps!
