Some days I wake up early, get everyone where they need to go, work all day, come home to dishes, and stay up late trying to catch up on laundry.
I am doing everything I can for my family. And still, there are moments when I feel mentally exhausted and disconnected from my children.
I remember one day when my son was having a tantrum. I looked at him and asked, āWhat else can I do?ā
His response broke my heart: āI want more time with you.ā He told me he felt like all I cared about was money.
You see, to us, we are surviving and making it happen. But our children may experience our absence as a lack of love or time.
That is why conversations about money matter.
Money clarity will not solve every family or emotional challenge. But having a clear financial system can reduce money stress and help us make more intentional choices with our time.
When I know where our money is going and what matters most, I can create more room for family dinners, meaningful conversations, Saturday outings, or simply sitting with my children without mentally replaying every bill.
I do not want to only provide for my children. I want to enjoy them.
If you are a high achieving mom balancing work, family, and your financial future, the April Wealthy Mom cohort is being created for you.

I used to think success meant being the smartest and most put-together woman in the room. But letās be real... that is exhausting. Especially when youāre managing a household, feeding 4 hungry kids, and keeping your marriage strong.
For a long time, I watched other ambitious women and wondered if there was enough room for all of us. Society feeds us a scarcity mindset that makes us feel we have to do it alone. But that lonely grind only keeps us stressed and stuck.
The truth? We win faster when we build together.
Iāve learned that when we stop operating in isolation and leverage our different gifts, the ceiling disappears. I donāt need to know everything because my sisters in business and life have my back.
This is why we created the Fall Cohort. Itās not just about numbers and wealth building; itās about a community of women done with the lone wolf mentality. Weāre building legacies together.
If youāre tired of the solo grind and ready to surround yourself with women who want to see you win as much as you do, letās talk.
Join us for the Fall Cohort. Comment COMMUNITY below or DM me to see if weāre a fit.
Letās build.

Youāve done everything right. The degree, the title, the salary, the home. On paper, youāre the definition of success. But late at night, when the kids are finally asleep and the house is quiet, that familiar tightening in your chest comes back. Why does it feel like we're just one big emergency away from it all falling apart?
Iāve been there. As a mom of four, I know what itās like to balance a high-stakes career with the "in the trenches" reality of family life. We work so hard for the numbers, yet somehow the numbers don't always translate to peace. Real wealth isn't just a spreadsheet. Itās the confidence to know exactly where you stand and the clarity to build a legacy that actually fits your values, not just a corporate image.
If youāre ready to move past the financial anxiety and finally master your cash flow, Iād love to have you in our circle. My Fall Cohort for high-achieving women is designed for exactly this. We donāt just talk about math; we talk about mindset, culture, and the real life weāre building for our babies.
Drop a "READY" below or DM me for the details. Letās build something that feels as good as it looks.

The workshop may be over, but the money conversations donāt have to be. š
Whether your family joined us at todayās Dinero Kidz Academy at The Groove Cafe in Oak Lawn: or you wished you could make it: you can keep the lessons alive at home with small, simple steps.
In our house, with four kids, a husband, and plenty of beautiful chaos, consistency matters more than perfection. Try this:
1) Ask one money question at dinner.
āWhat is something you saved for?ā or āWhat is something worth spending money on?ā
2) Give children a small choice.
Let them compare two options, think about what they want, and talk through the decision without shame or pressure.
3) Create a family goal jar.
Choose something meaningful together: a family outing, a special meal, or helping someone in need: and celebrate progress along the way.
You donāt need a long lesson or a perfect budget meeting. Just keep the conversation going in everyday moments so the knowledge doesnāt fade by September.
If you attended today, tell us one idea your child brought home. If you missed it, send me a message and letās stay connected for more family-centered money education.

I saw that spark in my sonās eyes: the moment he realized he didn't have to ask me for that Lego set because he could buy it himself!
In a house with 4 kids, life is usually a beautiful mess of laundry piles and loud voices. But in that moment, we talked about how he could solve problems for the neighbors. Whether itās a lemonade stand or mowing lawns, I want him to see opportunity everywhere.
Teaching our kids to be "producers" instead of "consumers" is how we break the cycle. We arenāt just raising kids; weāre raising the next generation of legacy builders. Wealth isnāt something that just happens; itās something they build with their own hands.
Thatās why Iām hosting Dinero Kidz Academy: Money Moves (Grades 5ā8). Weāre turning that childhood spark into real financial literacy.

You earn $150k a year. You have the title, the house, and the reputation. But every month, you are staring at your bank account wondering where it all went.
It is the secret anxiety nobody talks about. High earning women are the most hesitant to ask for help because we feel like we should have it all figured out. We lead teams and run businesses but feel like we are drowning in our own finances.
I have been there. Between sports fees and the beautiful chaos of raising four kids, it is so easy to fall into the cycle of earning more just to spend more. That income shame is heavy. It keeps you silent and stuck.
Making good money is only half the battle. Knowing how to keep it and grow it is where real peace lives.
We are breaking that cycle of secret stress. My Fall Cohort is designed for women ready to trade paycheck to paycheck anxiety for clarity and control. You do not have to do this alone. Let us get you the confidence your bank account deserves.

I didnāt learn about compound interest until I was an adult, and honestly, I was mad about it! Imagine if we had started at 7 instead of 27 or 37.
As a busy mom of four, Iām constantly looking for ways to set my kids up so they don't have to struggle the way we did. Today at the kitchen table, between the crumbs and homework, we talked about "money babies."
I told them: imagine you have one dollar. That dollar goes to work and has a baby (interest). Then, that baby grows up and has its own baby. Soon, you have a whole family of money working for you while you sleep! Thatās compound interest. No magic, just time.
The earlier they start, the more they win. We are breaking the cycle of "paycheck to paycheck" and building a legacy of wealth.
Get your kids ahead at the Dinero Kidz Academy: Money Moves (Grades 5ā8)!

I see you amiga. You are the one holding it all together. Between the kids school schedules, the chaos at home with my 4, and crushing it at work, you are also the one making sure your parents are taken care of as they age.
It is called the Sandwich Generation squeeze and for us Latinas it hits different. Our culture is built on familismo and we do not walk away when family needs us. But here is the hard truth I have had to face: being the safety net for everyone else cannot come at the cost of your own future.
If we do not build our own wealth and set firm financial boundaries with love we risk becoming a burden to our own children later on. That is not the legacy we want to leave. You can honor your parents and still prioritize your retirement. It is not an either or scenario. It is about a strategy that allows for both.
I am opening the Fall Cohort for high achieving women ready to master their cash flow and build a legacy. We will dive into these cultural expectations and create a roadmap that works for your life and your family.
Send me a message if you are ready to stop the overwhelm and start building real wealth. Let us do this together.

The "Mom, can I have...?" loop was driving me crazy. With four kids and a schedule that never stops, I felt like a human ATM. I realized I was losing a golden chance to teach them real discipline.
Thatās why we gave the kids their own debit cards (with major guardrails!).
Having "skin in the game" changed the whole vibe. Now, when weāre at the store and the kids see a shiny new toy, I donāt have to be the "no" person. I just look at them and ask, "Do you have enough on your card?"
Suddenly, that "must-have" item isn't so urgent when it's their balance on the line. It forces them to stop, think, and decide if itās worth their hard-earned money. Itās real-world money management happening right in the Target aisle while my husband and I try to finish the grocery list in peace.
Weāre teaching them that money is a tool, not a magic trick from Momās purse.

This is heartbreaking.....
Every time I see families lose their homes to fires, floods, or other disasters, my heart breaks.
In moments like these, the last thing anyone wants to worry about is, "How am I going to pay for a hotel tonight?" or "How will I replace the essentials my family needs?"
We can't always prevent tragedy, but we can prepare for the unexpected.
That's why an emergency fund isn't just a financial goal. It's peace of mind.
Even setting aside a small amount each paycheck can make a difference over time. An emergency fund gives you options when life takes an unexpected turn, whether it's a natural disaster, job loss, medical emergency, or major home repair.
If you don't have one yet, don't let that discourage you. Start where you are. Consistency matters more than the amount.
Your future self and your family will thank you.
Praying for every family navigating unimaginable loss today. May they find strength, support, and hope as they rebuild.
Have you started your emergency fund yet? If so, what helped you stay consistent?
