I got back late Monday Night from The National Sports Card Convention in Chicago/Rosemont IL.
Just a crazy week of setting up, walking around, checking out all the amazing cards and memorabilia and yes the breaking down. Ok that wasn't that fun but still a great week.

I find it hard to watch the All-Star game and be very excited. Yes I am glad the National league won and finally beat the American League after 13 years. But it is hard for me to cheer for Ryan Howard (Phillies), Brian McCann (Braves) when for 162 games a year, they are the enemy. Just my thoughts. On the up side David Wright(NY Mets) went 2-2 with a stolen base.

A pretty solid show in Greensboro, Sunday was a bit slow but a great day for buying. Picked up some nice vintage cards as well as some newer Rookies. Strasburg was the main topic of the weekend. I still have 3 rookie cards of Strasburg if anyone is interested.

I need to go open a box of 2010 Bowman. Of course they are going for almost $200 a box right now. The Strasburg card is the main reason. Check out the link for the superfractor of him. $10,000 and going up.
