Global circumstances have thrown many different issues at us over the course of the last year! Now, deep into the TOUGH WINTER SEASON, managers, executives, sales associates, and even customers, are on EDGE!!

WE CANNOT LET THESE TOUGH TIMES GET US DOWN!!

We must continue to become the best SALES WARRIORS possible.

We have got to use these times to become TOUGH!! Learn how to fight through tough circumstances.

BUT WE CANNOT HAVE ANYTHING LESS THAN A 100% "YES!" attitude!

We will not continue on a successful path unless we approach each and every day with a COMPLETE AND TOTAL "YES!" attitude!

WARRIOR SALES COACH! GAME-DAY INSIGHTS! "MANAGERS SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THE SALES PIT!!

"STAY IN YOUR LANE!!!!" ~ WARRIOR COACH

General Managers and more specifically- Sales Managers play a very important role in the development of individual sales team members and the integration of that sales team into one cohesive selling machine.

BUT!!! Unless your involved in the "TOTAL + COMPLETE CONVERSATION" with a customer - STAY IN YOUR FREAKING LANE!!!

All managers want to play the role of: "I'm more important than you and know what I'm talking about!!!" LOL!!

OF COURSE YOU DO!!! What you don't know is you heard 10 seconds out of a 5-minute conversation and you THINK you know what the ENTIRE SCRIPT was!! GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!

Let's break down this CASE STUDY because you will be faced with issues accordingly during your career. Just handled it professionally but always maintain a strong position.

Customer: "My credit is very low and my bank will not finance me!"

Me: "How low is your credit?"

Customer: "550"

Me: "We have several lenders that we work with that might be able to get you approved!" (script from what corporate wants us to say!!)

Customer: "I do not want my credit pulled again because it will lower my score even more! Do you have "IN HOUSE LENDING" (meaning....do we take on loans like sign and drive!!)

ME: (this is the only part of the conversation that the GENERAL MANAGER HEARD!) (but faces ALL CONCLUSIONS BASED ON THIS PART ONLY!!) "NO! We do not do IN HOUSE LENDING!"
- please see part of the conversation above where I do clearly state that we do LENDING!!

Conversation with the customer basically ends at this point but the conversation with the General and Sales Manager's is just beginning.

GM: "Why did you tell that customer we don't have a finance department?"

ME: blah blah blah blah blah WHAT????

MANAGERS!!!! PLEASE JUST STAY IN YOUR LANE!!!

"Effective salespeople are power-talkers!

Whatever the scenario, they know how to establish customer rapport, build trust and self-confidence, overcome resistance and objections -- and win sales.

But many salespeople, need a starting format to provide a successful foundation for customer interaction!

This is where pre-written sales scripts come into play!

BUT BE ABSOLUTELY CAREFUL! You do not want to come across as disingenuous or pretending to know less than you actually do!!

Many salespeople believe they won’t sound good if they read from a sales script. And I am here to tell you that is the case with all of us!!

BUT.........while I agree you should never read from a script when selling, a sales script can greatly improve your results by preparing you with the best questions and lines to say and ask.

First, let’s walk through the sales script creation process. You can follow this framework to craft your pitching strategy -- then simply plug in your unique value props into the template.

Here is a general list you can attack to create different scripts for your individual product lines:

1. Identify a product or service to focus on: reviewing your customer's interest level will initially help. If not, ask the right questions to determine this right out of the gate!!

2. Hone in on your target message!! You are selling Travel Trailers and RV'S!! You should know at this point in your career specific topics of discussion!!

3. Develop your benefits: the customer will come after you with everything they have to avoid buying! Keep moving to the close with SALES SCRIPTS (THE PLAN!!) Preparation is the key to closing more deals!!

4. Link your benefits to pain points: customer's have ALOT OF PAIN POINTS!! Know them! Learn them! Attack them vigorously!!

5. Ask questions about those pain points: Know SPECIFICS!!

6. Be quiet and just listen!! AND THEN......Just don't talk too much!

7. Always close!!!
