See you where things are real ➡️ because this is what real wellness looks and FEELS like 💚 together we move Forth

We will truly miss connecting with YOU all here as an extension of our connections at our studios, but know this is the right step to take for now for so many reasons that align with our mission and values. Forth is a space for embodiment and connection and staying on here is a distraction from the pursuit of presence. THIS is what embodied wellness looks like - stepping away from what no longer serves you, even when it’s hard to do so! Thank you for being a part of our movement because we truly couldn’t do it without you all 💚 Together we move Forth ➡️

Forth is an in person, connected, somatic experience. While I truly love seeing your life outside of our space through this medium - it’s ultimately all marketing. You are always being sold too, if you are not paying for the app, your attention is the product. As a small business owner, I didn’t quit my corporate job to follow the playbook of what I was told I had to do. We’re stepping away from social media because it’s the right thing to do. Yes it’s a risk for the business, but I sincerely hope you all have a bit more awareness into how are scrolling has a negative impact on our day-to-day lives. Turn off the auto pilot and step back into your power. Because true rest is not doom scrolling. True rest means having the freedom and autonomy to tap back into how the body is feeling – which we just cannot do when the mind is preoccupied with every little thing we’ve processed online, but haven’t felt in the body.

Captured in Motion ➡️ as a movement studio, something always felt a little funny about photo shoots in that they capture moments of stillness when most of what we do is physically move. I have been keeping an eye out for the right photographer to explore the concept of being captured in motion and I’m so glad Becky from popped onto my newsfeed! These are just a few landscape photos of the amazing photo shoot we had with our teachers earlier this month. We’ve done a really solid job of capturing the physical space and what a class looks like, but what I love about this photo shoot is that it really helps to capture the essence of how Forth makes you feel in our somatic, embodied classes. And honestly, as we are within two weeks of going off social media, I couldn’t help sharing this with the world 🤭 Part two with more photos coming soon! Together, we move Forth ➡️

Social media makes opening business looks way more glamorous than they actually are - here’s a little bts of everything that did not go as planned when opening our hot yoga and hot mat pilates studio in Logan square Chicago ❤️‍🔥

02/17/2026

As the hottest new studio in Logan square ❤️‍🔥 we’ve been getting some questions recently about if we are on ClassPass - and the answer is no. We were on classpass our first year and as we grew as a business, it ultimately didn’t align with our values. While it was great to spread our mission and get extra people in spots, we got to a point where classpassers on reduced rates were taking up spots from our members when classes had waitlists. We ultimately weren’t able to control that to the extent that we needed to on the app, so we decided to leave. We are not built for one off drop in – we are built for long-term engagements. Because that’s how you build actual strength – not by dropping into a class every other week but by coming to an intentional blend of modalities several times a week. That’s also how you build community – getting to know people overtime, not just dropping in once in a while. I think there’s definitely a great use case for classpass in huge capacity studios or studios where people are just coming and going a bit more in that neighborhood, but for us it just did not align.

Still a work in progress but we’re getting there ❤️‍🔥 thank you for two weeks of movement and lessons learned about running a hot studio!
