Toon Army Chicago We're here to unite all the Newcastle United fans in the Chicagoland area. We came to be where many great ideas spawn from: the pub.

Three Newcastle fans met by chance at The Globe toward the end of the 2013/2014 season. After realizing there is no organization for Newcastle fans, the choice to unite all Newcastle fans was made. Today, our aim is to keep Newcastle fans in Chicagoland and all over a chance to discuss their love of the Club, memories of watching the Toon, or who should be the next one to get the sack. We are a supporters' group founded by fans of Newcastle United Football Club with no official relation to the Club.

The Jaissle Black & White Army bus keeps rolling, and we’ve got another passenger to pick up… MFP is a Mag! 🖤🤍 Hopefully our latest signing gets some minutes and gives us an early look at what he can do.

🍺 BIG DAN BROON ARRIVES SATURDAY! ⚫️⚪️

THE BIG MAN MAY BE INJURED, BUT HIS BROON IS READY FOR KICKOFF.

This Saturday, Toon Army Chicago and Riverlands Brewing Company are launching BIG DAN BROON — a smooth, malty Brown Ale brewed in honor of Newcastle’s own Big Dan Burn.

Dan might be sidelined for the trip to Spurs, but we’ve got a perfectly good way to make sure he’s still part of the matchday squad. 😏

🍺 Big Dan Broon launches Saturday
📍 Riverlands Brewing — St. Charles
⏰ 11:30 AM kickoff

If you can make it to Riverlands, THIS is the place to be. Come watch the match with the Suburban Mags, grab a pint of Big Dan Broon, and help us give this absolute beaut the launch it deserves.

Heading into Chicago instead? Mrs. Murphy's has the Chicago Mags covered with creamy pints of Guinness and shots of Malört. 🍻🥃 Either way, you can't lose!

Just remember: Big Dan Broon is ONLY at Riverlands.

HOWAY THE BROON! ⚫️⚪️🍺

⚫️⚪️ MATCHDAY IN CHICAGO! ⚫️⚪️

Newcastle United take on West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup, and we’re bringing the Toon together at Mrs. Murphy’s! 🏆

📍 Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro
🚪 Doors: 1:15 PM
⚽️ Kick-off: 1:45 PM

Got a suspiciously urgent appointment this afternoon? Feeling a sudden case of “I can’t possibly work past lunch”? We’re not here to judge. 😉🇬🇧

And a heads-up: the kitchen will NOT be open at kick-off, so outside food is permitted for this match. Grab yourself some scran and get down to the pub.

Come on, lads — let’s get behind the Toon! Howay the lads! ⚫️⚪️

Big Dan Broon has arrived.

We teamed up with our friends at Riverlands Brewing Company to craft a custom brew for Newcastle United supporters: Big Dan Broon, a classic English-Style Brown Ale (5.7% ABV).

Solid, dependable, and built for the long haul—just like BDB himself on the pitch. This roasty, smooth malt brew brings the backbone, heart, and grit to your pint glass.

Mark your calendars! The official release and watch party set for Saturday, August 29th at Riverlands.

📍 Riverlands Brewing Co. (1860 Dean St, St. Charles, IL)
⏰ Saturday, 8/29 @ 11:30 AM (NUFC vs. Spurs). Doors Open @ 11!

We hoped for a big turnout yesterday, and you came through in a MASSIVE way! We easily outnumbered the sc*users at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro, and we were FAR louder than them! We are still buzzing over the atmosphere and the result (somewhat).

Join us this Wednesday for the start of our Carabao Cup campaign against West Brom, and in TWO locations for Spurs on Saturday!

HONOR THE KING. START A NEW ERA. 🖤🤍

This Sunday, the 2026/27 campaign launches at full throttle. We’re paying tribute to the legendary Kevin Keegan 👑, ushering in the Matthias Jaissle era, and giving Alexander Isak 90 minutes of hell on his return.

Toon Army Chicago is packing out Mrs. Murphy’s from wall to wall. Get in early, grab a sausage roll or curry chips 🥟🍟, enjoy a creamy pint of Guinness, brace your stomach for the Malört (if you're brave enough), and bring maximum noise from the first whistle.

Let's lay down a marker for the entire season on Day 1. UP THE TOON! ⚽🍻
