Thank you everyone who attended our belt promotion ceremony & holiday party, and everyone past and present who have contribute this project.

Congratulations Harry, promoted to purple belt today.

Congratulations Kevin, Eddie and Alex, all leveled up this week.

There will be more promotions before and after the August Chicago Open.

Today is the 3 month mark from when we opened our second location, valkostudiobjj.com. Thank you to our members and those who have helped us grow and spread the word. We have already expanded our schedule to 7 days a week (kids Monday-Saturday, adults Sunday-Friday).



All are welcome to stop by for a class. As activities move indoors for the fall and winter seasons, consider bringing your kids by to try it out.

The website for our new location is live! www.valkostudiobjj.com. 2748 W Montrose Ave, classes start Monday, July 15th. The first 25 members get 25% off our already very affordable membership, if you sign up for 3 months. Membership is just $100/month, be it for an adult or child. Classes will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday until our first 25 “Founders” memberships are sold, then we’ll add Tuesday & Thursday.

If you are a Full-Member at Valko BJJ in River North, you can also train at Valko Studio FOR NO EXTRA COST. 33 adult classes across two locations for only $150/month (or even cheaper with an annual or bi-annual commitment). The schedule at Valko BJJ will not change, except the kids class will migrate to Valko Studio.

Our goal is to offer the best Jiu-Jitsu experience we can at as inclusive a price as possible.

And finally, huge thank you to Marshall and his crew for transforming a former Rent-A-Center into a beautiful dojo.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Coming July, 2024, Valko Jiu-Jitsu Studio, 2748 W. Montrose (intersection of Montrose & California). The concept behind this location is to be a smaller, “neighborhood”-style Jiu-Jitsu school. Class will be mostly kids and adult fundamentals, and a few special sessions mixed in. Class will be taught by Jay, Jose and Rex. Valko BJJ downtown will continue as normal. More details coming in the following weeks.

Saturday, Nov 11th, no class or open mat. Seminar with Eduardo DeLima at 11am followed by our year-end belt promotion.
