Seeing the world upside down! Handstands are just so playful, especially if you don't care if you fall! Kicking up is the best part!

If you haven't had a chance to play with handstands, ask one of your yoga teachers and see if they can assist you. Then you know how to use your muscles and use your core so you can use the wall for support, without crashing a hole through it! Wall is a great tool until you get used to the muscles needed.

Love all the special finds in Colorado. Years ago, I did yoga in front of this ghost town structure. Now, years later it is about to fall down. I love that I could capture this.

Why do I always post about our champagne Friday? Because I want to remind myself and others, regularly, to come back to ritual, celebration, romance. This brings the spark back into our day, life. It ignites who we are and reminds us of all the joy in our hearts and lives.

Everyone of us can embrace a little more ritual, or celebration, or romance.
Whether is be with just ourselves or others. Ritual can be a bubble bath with music before bed or regularly scheduled meet up with the guys. Celebration can be celebrating the big and small events in our days or lives. And Romance, that can be with ourselves - placing a beautifully set table for one or a planned date night.

For me the weekly Champagne Friday is all of this combined into one pop of a cork.

This is one of the only pictures of me teaching. I have taught for 30 years but the yoga classroom is a private, vulnerable space. It's where we can feel safe to move our body in interesting ways, not being self conscious of what it looks like. It is a therapeutic, freeing dance. May you always feel free and safe in your yoga class!
